Fav. Food: -- Fresh things, usually salads or smoothies, but he also likes sushi sometimes. He eats mostly low-calorie things, though.
Hated Food: -- Anything greasy or fatty, he doesn't really like meat much either, and the smell of barbeque can make him sick.
School/Occupation: Private Chef/Sugar Artist
Hobbies: What does your character do outside of school/work during their civilian life? This should be an activity that they do on a regular basis, and should be something they could reasonably do in the setting and within their financial means. At least two hobbies are required, but up to five are welcome. Each hobby should be described with at least two sentences. Hobbies should be something that can encourage roleplay or be used to inspire roleplay, however players are allowed to have solitary hobbies as well.
Shopping: -- With the constantly changing whims of his employer, Raf ends up out and about all the time looking for niche ingredients or researching things to bring into new dishes. Just because he has to be out for work doesn't mean he's not going to go looking for things for himself, though. While he may not buy things as often for himself when it comes to clothing, he is always looking for new things and potentially new people to take inspiration from.
Pinning: -- Insects, something people find disgusting, happen to be one of the things Raf likes a lot. Over time, when he's found specimens that have already expired near his home or work, he brings them in and pins them to add to his collection. Moths are his favorite, followed by butterflies with their delicate, scaled wings. Occasionally, he has gone to conventions to talk about how to best display and pin things or find or source specimens ethically, but he's hesitant to bring up the fact that he's the one who has made his collection to new people who come to his home.
3d modeling/maker: -- A hobby he picked up out of necessity for work and partially due to his father's work as well, Raf has tinkered with things in 3d modeling and printed chocolates, sugars, and other non-edible things. While he finds the reddit community more trouble than it's worth most nights, he does enjoy the ability it gives him to make whatever he might need without having to go to a store or having to dig online to find exactly the right thing with the right specifications.
Virtues: These are positive aspects about your character's personality that affect them on a daily basis, and are things your character could be praised and admired for. These traits shouldn’t be too specific or only manifest in specific situations (such as ‘likes animals’), shouldn’t be overpowered (such as ‘Perfect’), and shouldn’t be based on their physical appearance (such as ‘pretty’). Virtues are things that are directly related to how your character behaves. Traits should be balanced, so all profiles need an equal number of Virtues and Flaws and should not contradict each other.
Caring: -- Raf worries about others, at least those he knows or gets to know. If he sees someone who is out of sorts, though, he would check on them even if they are a stranger. In personal relationships, this comes through more with a focus on making meals catered towards an individual's personal taste or preference, or stocking things that would help make someone more comfortable. He rarely will stand idly by if there is a chance he can do something.
Inventive/Imaginative: -- Always thinking of new ways to go about things and new creations to make for work, Raf's mind is always working and thinking. This doesn't just apply to his job, but to anything that ends up being inconvenient as well. Whether he needs to set up things differently in his kitchen for the flow to be better, or he needs to shave down tools to fit his grip better for comfort, he is always thinking of ways to improve or make things easier. If someone he knows is having a problem or comes to him for advice, he does his best to work through it with them and talk through his ideas with them to help them if he can. This works better when it's less of a social issue and more like a thing or time issue, but he will do his best to offer advice on things to do if someone asks for it.
Reliable: -- At any hour, for the most part, if you text or call him, he'll answer. On time and ready to work or get started on something, he makes sure he's always a bit early just in case. It's easier considering he has very few friends since it's usually only work calling him, but he'd still try to juggle things as best as he could.
Flaws: These are negative aspects about your character's personality that affect them on a daily basis, and are things your character could be disliked or criticized. These traits shouldn’t be too specific or only manifest in specific situations (such as ‘hates kids’), shouldn’t be based on fears (such as ‘afraid of the dark’), and shouldn’t be based on anything that manifests physically (such as ‘clumsy’). Phobias and illnesses (physical or mental) are not viable flaws. Flaws are things that are directly related to how your character behaves. Traits should be balanced, so all profiles need an equal number of Virtues and Flaws and should not contradict each other.
Greedy: -- Raf wants it all, things that all the money in the world can't buy, all the attention, but only in the exact way he wants it. He's careful with it most of the time, framing things jokingly or passing things off as he was already in an area and happened to bump into someone. Always going for more more more, trying to reach for bigger goals, better things, new experiences. While he won't snap at more, trying to get in the way, he will try to pull strings or talk in the background to have pieces moved and get someone fired if they get in his way.
Insecure: -- Growing up, things were not the best for Raf, even if financially he had anything he needed or wanted. Always seeking validation or continuously working to make sure things are perfect, even when it might drain him, he finds himself antsy when critiques come up. It has led to his relationship with people being strained, and few sticking around for long.
Deceitful: -- To keep things hidden and make a good impression, Raf keeps a lot of things under wraps or omits information when questions are asked. When it comes to one-night stands or things happening on his nights out at the bars or clubs, he always frames it in a way that he gets what he wants without them being none the wiser about things if he can manage it. If not, he makes sure that there are enough drinks or party favors to go around to help muddle the memories a bit more. He doesn't see the problem with it, not really, since it keeps people from asking questions and poking into things he doesn't want them to poke into. While he's good at covering his tracks most times, there are a few places he's avoided just in case to avoid any repercussions of his actions.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Hair and eye colors cannot change from civilian to powered form, nor can tattoos or piercings. If your character has a tattoo as a civilian it will appear on the powered art, though will have a glamour to prevent people who have seen both from identifying civilian identities. Hairstyles can change between civilian and powered form; only Corrupted Senshi have vastly different hair between civilian and powered forms (their hair grows extensively in length!) Unnatural hair and eye color are perfectly fine, and there is no need to say they use hair dye or wear contacts - your character is free to have been born with blue hair if you want. Genetic heterochromia is allowed, but please consider that this is still considered an oddity in our game environment; you are free to play with it but we encourage players to be considerate of this fact! If your character is intended to have different colored eyes due to injury, please make sure you have done adequate research and include relevant information when you post a quest, or PM the shop mule, The Space Cauldron, for help! Because civilian art isn’t required for play, this part of the form will be helpful in making sure others know how your character appears if you don’t yet have art for them. Please make sure you are describing your character's civilian appearance! If they are an alien (such as a Vanguardian or Deep Space Senshi) or a youma/half youma, the below information should only describe them as they appear while in their 'human glamour'. You can describe their true, unglamoured appearance in the appropriate powered section of their quest!
Eyes: Goldish Yellow Roundish
Hair: Shaggy black/grey sometimes with gold accessories
Face: Heart-shaped with pierced ears, an eyebrow, and a small sort of sharp nose
Skin Tone: On the pale end with some scars from acne and other things.
Body Type: 5'5" Not too curvy but not too thin either, they don't really work out, but they walk a lot, so they keep in a certain level of shape. They don't have a lot of muscle, though, because they don't eat a lot of protein.
Clothes: Most of Raf's clothing is dark in color and loose-fitting on the top half. He usually wears black jeans or slacks, depending on whether he's at work or not. In the past, he used to wear lolita and had considered Ouji clothing, but he's not quite ready to explore that until he figures some more things out.
Uniform Color: Main and secondary. Give us a hex code if you'd like. The bodices of Order Senshi (including chibis) will always be white, and the bodices for Dark Mirror and Corrupted Senshi will always be black. Characters should have at least one main color and one secondary color, but other colors can be used as needed.
Main Color: White and Black Secondary Color: Gold
Uniform:
Reference pictures may be used in place of descriptions, but please be prepared to give extra detail if your artist requires it!
Tiara -- Every Order senshi is required to have some form of tiara. Beaded? Traditional? Woven fabric across your forehead? Corrupted Senshi do not need a tiara; instead they have a cracked black hole in their forehead. Choker -- Choker is a classic, or a necklace? Or a scarf? Collar -- Plain sailor collar? All senshi must have a collar with one stripe at first stage. Bodice -- A swimsuit-type bodice? Order Senshi need a white bodice; Chaos Senshi need a black bodice. Some factions, like the Dark Mirror Court, have specific uniform requirements for their bodice and the amount of skin showing, but no other Senshi have restrictions. The bodice simply needs to be visible and be the lowest layer of fabric on their uniform. Chest Bow -- You need some form of frontal decoration and all senshi must have some kind of bow. All Senshi but Corrupted Senshi require a chest bow. Brooch -- Round? Shaped like anything? Keep this plain for the first incarnation. All Senshi but Corrupted Senshi require a brooch; instead, corrupted senshi have a cracked black hole in their chest. Sleeves -- Got sleeves? Gloves -- Any gloves? Buttbow -- All Senshi need a buttbow or sash around their waist Bottoms -- Shorts? Capris? Miniskirt? Tea-length cocktail skirt? Your typical school girl skirt? All Senshi bottoms need to have one stripe or at least one layer of fabric for first stage. Shoes -- Go crazy! Accessories -- Any accessories? Earrings? Jewelry? Some factions, like the Dark Mirror Senshi, have extra uniform features (like a transparent overlay, or metallic bracers) ; please make sure that you have checked the character uniform requirements! Attacks: These are your senshi's abilities and should correspond to your senshi's sphere. Senshi unlock a new magical ability to use in battle as they rank up ICly! Chibi Senshi should have weaker versions of the standard magic, or should have magic that backfires. Corrupted Senshi are allowed to have ‘darker’ magic. ‘Late Blooming Senshi’ ages 21-27 should have magic written the same as other standard Senshi but should have IC effects or erratic magic. More information can be found in the tips below! Senshi magic should be written to have a duration, a range, and number of uses. Senshi magic should be written to have a base ability, however players can include optional effects, such as more powerful or lasting damage, that their RP partner can choose to be affected by! Senshi magic can be a buff or debuff, can be offensive, defensive, or create illusions. Senshi magic should typically only be one type of magic; it should not be a buff, and be offensive and defensive, for example.
Sailor Scout Attack: What's inside?
This is your most basic attack. Magic for Basic Senshi ages 14-27 typically lasts for about thirty seconds, has three uses, and affects enemies within ten feet, however this is all subjective and depends on the type of attack. Chibi magic should be less powerful than standard magic, and may have a shorter duration or a smaller range.
Leitner exhales over his palms as he speaks his magic, a sickening haze seeming to spread from him and can affect all enemies within radius. It clings to him closest, but if he comes in contact with someone or scratches them, then the effects truly begin. A slight infestation overtakes them: the sensation of a mild itching beneath the skin, almost like crawling insects, followed by a feeling that something rotten has taken hold, something that can't be cured or removed. Players may choose to have their senshi have any psychological effects if they have issues related to bugs or things of that nature, but the only damage that would happen would be from his touch or nails and not from the magic itself. Or if the character decided to try scratching at themself. When the magic fades, players may choose to retain a lingering grey or black taint/color on their skin, similar to mold or sores from an infection, at the contact point, but that will fade after a short period of time.
Range: 10 feet Time: 20 seconds Uses: 3 Per battle
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Can you feel it?
This attack is an upgrade of your first attack! It should be written nearly the same, except it can have more powerful effects. Magic for Super Senshi ages 14-27 typically lasts for about thirty to thirty five seconds, has two uses, and affects enemies within ten to fifteen feet, however this is all subjective and depends on the type of attack.
A moderate infestation overtakes them: the sensation of a moderate itching beneath the skin, almost like crawling insects, followed by a feeling that something rotten has taken hold even deeper into their core, something that can't be cured or removed. When breathing, they may taste rot or mold. It may even appear like the black marks or sores are spreading as if everything is sinking deeper into them. Players may choose to have their senshi have any psychological effects if they have issues related to bugs or things of that nature. There is the sensation of mild damage this time on the skin or if the contact point is in the mouth, then it can potentially go a bit further back down the throat. But otherwise, anything deeper would not be due to the magic but standard physical contact. When the magic fades, players may choose to take lasting damage or retain a lingering grey or black taint/color on their skin, similar to mold or sores from an infection, at the contact point for a short while after the battle. Players may also choose to have this damage scar.
Range: 15 feet Time: 30 seconds Uses: 2 Per battle
Eternal Sailor Attack: The Crawling Rot
This attack can either be an upgrade of your super attack OR a completely new magic! It is the most powerful Senshi magic. Magic for Eternal Senshi ages 14-27 typically lasts for about thirty five to forty five seconds, has one use, and affects enemies within fifteen to twenty feet, however this is all subjective and depends on the type of attack.
A severe infestation overtakes them: the sensation of a severe itching beneath the skin, with visibly crawling insects, followed by a feeling that something rotten has taken hold even deeper into their core, something that can't be cured or removed. When breathing, they may taste rot or mold, may feel as if it is growing on their tongue. The target may hallucinate insects burrowing in and out of their skin, or sores may become unbearably painful and weep a noxious ooze. Players may choose to have their senshi have any psychological effects if they have issues related to bugs or things of that nature. The magic can cause the sensation of moderate damage on the skin or if the contact point is in the mouth, then it can potentially go a bit further back down the throat. Mild damage below the skin as if muscle and fat were eaten away, but that is up to the player.
