Hobbies:Singing/Songwriting - Ever since Kaida was a little girl, she's loved to sing. The genre doesn't matter...if she likes a song, she'll sing it at some point. She loves karaoke, and occasionally comes up with her own little ditties, and has written a few full songs. Her Grand-pere Courcel recognized her talent early on, and has paid for her to take voice and singing lessons since she was in first grade, and though singing isn't what she does solely for a career, she's learned how to integrate it into her content creation.
Anime - Kaida loves anime. She doesn't care about the stereotype of her being part Japanese, because she LIKES her Japanese cartoons! They're engaging and beautifully drawn. And she has a special place in her heart for Magical Girl anime. She's especially fond of 'Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha' and 'Cardcaptor Sakura'. And she might have a dorky love for the Gundam franchise and 'Star Driver'. She was introduced to anime during visits to her family in Kyoto, and then more actively when anime started popping up on television in the States.
Video Games - At least a couple of times a week, she and her friends Matt and Hiroyuki sit down and tag team a video game for a few hours. And they try and have a video game marathon at least once every few months. They tend to prefer things like RPGs, strategy games, fighters, and platformers. As for how she got into video games? You can blame Matt for that. He introduced her when they were still in early elementary school with Ocarina of Time.
Cosplay - Picked up back in high school, sort of, because of her love of anime and video games. In the last few years, she's become more involved in it, and now, it's become part of her content creation. While she doesn't make her own costumes, she has a whole room in her apartment that is basically her 'cosplay closet' and she does make alterations to the pieces she buys (that aren't commissioned) to better fit her view of the character.
Virtues: Warm-hearted - Kaida is, generally, one of those people who
cares about those around her. She's the Momfriend, the one who makes sure you've gotten enough sleep, are okay after that extremely dumb thing you did, that you remembered to eat and take your meds. It even extends to her content creation, her motherly persona being one of the things she's known for.
Self-assured - If there's one thing that Kaida isn't lacking in, it's
confidence. She's secure in her own skin, knows her strengths and flaws, and knows that when she's doing her best, she's doing her
best. She rarely second-guesses herself, rarely lets the words of others get under her skin.
Bright - Kaida is one of those people that seems to bring light into a room. She's most often bringing a smile and infectious good mood into the scene, helping to brighten the vibes and pull other people out of their shell. Or to just co-exist with the good vibes; she's not for pulling people out of their comfort zone if they aren't up for it.
Flaws: Judgmental - Kaida, while being the momfriend and fairly open-minded, is unfortunately prone to being rather...judgmental. If you do something she doesn't like? She's likely to write you off right away. If you're part of a movement or faction she's not fond of, she's more likely to treat you with hostility than friendliness. She's so used to the judgment of others, that she just...has taken to judging right back.
Guarded - As the daughter of two families in high society, a senshi having to safeguard her civilian identity, and a content creator, Kaida has learned how to keep her life in boxes, even when it seems like she's being open about things. She rarely lets people in fully, keeping her own counsel more often than not, and her cards close to her chest.
Vindictive - When Kaida feels she or people she cares about have been wronged, she does not do things in halves. She
retaliates. What form that retaliation takes is variable depending on the wrong, but it usually takes the form of being
extremely petty, passive-aggressive, or downright hostile to the person in question. Rarely does it come to blows [unless it involves Powered shenanigans], but it tends to be very obvious.

Face: Kaida's face is very Japanese in shape, though on the rounder side.

Body Type: Kaida is short, standing at 5' even, and is very curvy. She's gained weight since college, but holds it with confidence and pride.
Clothes: Kaida's style has shifted over the last few years. While she still loves her gothic and punk outfits, she's been taking a lot of inspiration from KPop idols as well as going 'okay, but what if I dressed like I was the protag from a magical girl anime?'. When she has to do formal things, or otherwise dress up, she tends to pull out all the stops, often leaning into femme fatale.
She's fond of ear cuffs, and has two piercings in the lobe of each ear. Not an item of clothing, but she does have a stylized butterfly tattoo in black and deep blue on her lower back.
