Physical description: Mila is a petite young girl with dark, medium length hair and soft hazel eyes. Growing up hungry more often than not has resulted in Mila being rather scrawny overall, with unimpressive arms and legs as well as a tiny waist. She usually wears a rather aloof expression on her face by default, making it somewhat difficult for people to tell what she's thinking. Not much of a fashionista, Mila prefers to dress in clothes that are both comfortable and warm, such as loose pants and hoodies.

Personality: Mila is quiet and reserved to the point of being borderline withdrawn. She is naturally cautious around both people and environments that she's not used to. That's not to say she's unkind, however. On the contrary, Mila can be very sweet to those she chooses to approach. She's especially kind to children and the elderly.
Personal Skills: Mila has a good eye for photography and is pretty skilled with her hands in general. She knows how to sew and cook and even draw quite well.
Family: None. Mila was found abandoned in a quiet alleyway with little clue as to where she came from. The closest thing she has to a parent is the director of the orphanage that took her in, Juliette LaRue.
Hometown: Mila was found and raised in Lumiose City in the Kalos region. Her actual birthplace is unknown.
Biography: Mila's origins are something of a mystery. She was found abandoned in her baby stroller in a quiet alleyway on the slums of Lumiose City. She was fortunate enough to have been found by a good samaritan who promptly delivered her to the local authorities, but unfortunately they were never able to find the girls parents. With no other option, Mila was left with the local orphanage and raised among the other children there.
It wasn't a bad childhood growing up in the orphanage, though it wasn't always easy, either. With limited funds but multiple mouths to feed, the director of the orphanage created a side business running a taxi service using trained Gogoat. A popular business in the area, the swift and intelligent grass types helped to keep things afloat by shepherding people throughout the city for cash. As for the children, they were expected to help out as well by chipping in to tend to the younger Skiddo while they were still being trained.
There were some lean times when she and the other kids couldn't eat quite as much as they'd like, but even as a child Mila could see that the director was doing her best to keep them all clothed and fed. She tried her best not to complain and never shirked her work when it came to helping with the chores. As the years went by, Mila couldn't help but notice how she was one of the few children to never be adopted by another family. Once she became a teenager and her odds went down even further, the girl decided that she should start making plans for when she was eventually aged out of the system.
She wasn't exactly unskilled or lazy, but Mila didn't really have any idea about what to do with her life. One of the few things the girl could say that she really wanted was to learn more about her origins. The mystery behind her abandonment had always gnawed at Mila, and a journey to uncover her past sounded like a worthwhile adventure. She spoke to an officer at the local police station and discovered that during the course of the investigation, a single clue had been discovered while canvassing the area; An old digital camera that had been found near her carrier. There were no fingerprints on it, and there was no memory card either, so it had simply been bagged and left in storage. Mila asked if she could have it, and the officer gave it up without a struggle, wishing her luck in her quest for the truth.
Examining the camera further, Mila found that it was a custom made device created by some craftsman in a far off region called Kimchi. When contacted, the man couldn't recall off hand what Mila was talking about, but invited the girl to come see him in the region if she ever visited so he could take a closer look. It was as good idea as any, so she ran with it. With the year and a half she had remaining at the orphanage, Mila worked every odd job she could find to build up her nest egg and eventually saved enough to buy herself a ticket and some modest travel funds. The director of the orphanage sent the girl off with tears in her eyes, as well as one of her younger Skiddo to help keep Mila safe on her journey. Promising to write often, Mila gathered her few belongings and caught the first ship to Kimchi. She hopes this mysterious land will help shed some light on who her parents were, and perhaps even help her discover who she will become moving forward.
