No, no, no, this path did not at all match the description Ouranos had given her. She should have paid more attention, should not have focused on the little cloud at his feet instead of hearing his words. At the time, she had been angry, resisting the urge to stomp her hooves and ask him the burning questions in her mind since the moment he had brought home the little ones, but now she could clearly see how foolish she had been. She should have listened, and now she was so utterly, totally, completely lost. Not that she'd admit it, of course, but confession or not, there was one irrefutable fact: Lyrais had absolutely no clue where she was and most definitely wasn't going to find her way to town before sunset.

Well, now seemed like a good time as any to begin stomping hooves. So stomp she did, hooves thumping heavily against the ground as she internally hissed curses and grievances. She didn't want to spend another night outside, unsure if the nearest cave or dense enough gathering of trees would protect her from the consistently rainy nights. She was tired of mud and rain, but it looked like she'd have another night of it.

"I should have listened," Lyrais grumbled with a kick of her hoof, sending a rock flying into the brushes ahead. "How hard it is to find a waterfall, of all things? Ugh."
