Strange things were happening all across the city; well stranger than normal Totoro noted. He'd stopped at a small green space the city had set up and was sitting on the back of a bench looking up at the sky questioning what was going on.
The fact that it seemed the sky was purple and there were these weird electric storms made him question if the city had just got sucked further into a sci-fi rabbit hole. He half expected the next thing to pop up would be something straight out of a Ghibli movie perhaps a cat bus would come and whisk them away?? Nothing would at least surprise Totoro at this point. He paused and looked around when he felt the pinging of an energy signature trying to figure out where it was or if it belonged to friend or foe.
To be fair he was still working on that part of the issue.

Aberdonia was out on patrol again. He thought he'd sensed something strange, sludgy, like the monster he'd fought before, but almost with an electric thrill to it. It was honestly uncomfortable, and pulsed oddly, like rumbles of thunder far away.
Figuring it was not something to ignore, he'd Powered up, and started to go looking for it. Unfortunately, it seemed to have gone to ground, wherever it had gone, leaving the Senshi of Papyrus irritated and confused. It had seemed strong enough that he should have been right on top of it, but now it was gone.
Aberdonia sighed in aggravation, and came upon a small green space in the city, like a community garden, with park benches in it. On a nice day, it would be a nice way for people living in the nearby apartments to relax and unwind, to let the stresses of urban living gently fade away, maybe not erasing them, but still easing the little micro frustrations and temptations towards micro aggressions. Maybe, on a better day, after these storms had passed, he'd find an excuse to take Yasmeen and Keesh out this way, to enjoy a nice, quiet walk in this cute, well-tended little community garden.
There was also someone sitting on the back of one of the benches, staring up at the sky. He was small, small enough to be a child, dressed in a raccoon hood, with a small black domino mask across his face, gloves that seemed to mirror a raccoon's paws, and a sailor collar draped around his shoulders, like a weird fusion of one of Peter Pan's Lost Boys and the kind of schoolkid who always seemed to find adventures along every abandoned railroad track.
A senshi? A fairly young one, then.
Coughing softly to announce his presence, he made his way over and settled on the other end of the bench. "Anything you're looking at, or that I could help with?" he asked the smaller senshi. What was senshi the senshi of? Raccoons? A bit on the nose, but maybe senshi with animal themes tended to dress more akin to their animals. Which wasn't a bad thing. And, given the age of this senshi, it just seemed...right...that he would look like he'd wandered straight out of a certain class of adventure story for kids.

Totoro had been debating on what would be best in ways of getting ready for this storm and whatever was coming their way. He'd been reading the database on his phone with the information on it. He looked over with another order signature ticked on his radar and he looked around to see Aberdonia joining him.
"Oh hello." He said before looking back to the sky for a moment before turning his attention back to the older senshi and holding up the phone in his hand with the database pulled up, "I was watching the sky to see if I could see what was causing these storms since it's a magical storm."
He said and then paused, "I'm Chibi Sailor Totoro by the way." The chibi put on a cheesy grin to try and show he wasn't worried about some crazy storm that could do who knows what and put his mother in danger. Yup, not worried at all.

Aberdonia nodded. "Sailor Aberdonia," he replied, by way of introduction. "I take it you weren't at the meeting on the Moon? Or maybe you arrived late, or something? Anyway, the storm is apparently caused by the Calamitous Hollow, the big, cosmic, world-eating snake, ripping holes through the dimensions as it teleports toward its next destination. Because that's what every universe needs, a cosmic horror that treats causality like the scenery on a movie set, on its way toward devouring the cosmos," he added, sarcasm coloring the last addition.
"On a different subject, have you sensed any monsters in this direction? I was tracking its energy signature, but I think it went to ground right before I got here, and I have no idea where it went," the older senshi said in frustration. He flopped onto the end of the bench, feeling sticky as the humidity increased, and the first cracks of thunder began to rend the air.
"Aaannnd I'm guessing that's the next storm overhead." He glanced up toward the sky, wondering in passing if it was possible to see the Calamitous Hollow as it passed by.

Totoro grinned, "Nice to meet you Aberdonia!"
The chibi paused and shrugged softly, "I was late, so I kind of caught the very end of the conversations. But I also wanted to try and actually see if the creature could be seen from here." Not that he actually wanted to meet it face to face.
Specially if it was some world ending monster. He nodded when the other compared it to a horror, "Yeah the only horror movies I'm allowed to watch is the original Frankenstein and Dracula." There was a chuckle slightly, "But I mean it sounds perhaps worse than Thanos."
There was a pause when the other asked if he'd sensed any monsters in the general area, "I thought I felt something for a minute but it disappeared before you showed up." He rubbed the back of his neck, "I try to avoid monsters unless I have someone stronger with me. I'm still learning." He admitted.
There was a pause as the child looked up towards the sky when the thunder started, "Seems like it." There was a frown, "I hope all of us can solve this."

Aberdonia paused to consider what the chibi was saying. "Yeah, I guess it probably is worse than Thanos. By the sounds of it, any world the Calamitous Hollow eats becomes a withered, dead husk without any life on it, so, yeah, probably way worse than Thanos."
He nodded understandingly. "I get that; I'm also sort of new to all of this; besides that, my magic's defensive, so I have to find something to physically hit monsters with to make them go away. The magic's not bad, but I feel it kinda works better for big battles, if you know what I mean," he said.
Glancing up toward the sky again as lightning rent the sky again, he said, "I think, if everyone else with even a smidge of magical power is as worried as all of us are, then there will be enough people to figure out together how to take the Hollow out of commission, or maybe make it go away."
Thunder rumbled loudly nearby, almost obscuring the reappearance and approach of the youma. The senshi had seemed off-guard, and one of them was young. A tempting pair of targets. Maybe even an easy pair of targets.
If its energy signature wasn't strong enough to compete with the thunder.LP I think this got lost in the meta shuffle, I'm so very sorry! crying

Totoro nodded when Aberdonia mentioned it was probably worse than Thanos. That was likely a fair assessment. He seemed thoughtful, "You're probably right . . . . I think I'd rather the Thanos snap."
There was a pause when the other said they were new to all of this and Totoro grinned, "Maybe we could work together then? If you're magic isn't that great on it's own maybe mine would make it better!"
There was a pause, "I haven't thought about grabbing something and using it though, it's probably smart to have a back up plan." When the lightning and thunder rolled he jumped a bit. Though he should've been use to it, there was as amount of shock depending on when it sounded.
He looked up at the sky with a sigh, "I hope every magical person is as worried. I think we'd all stand a good chance teamed up."
There was a pause as he glanced around but shrugged it off, as if he felt like he was being watched but the thunder and lightning kept him too jumpy at the moment to pay close attention. "So what does your magic do? I know you said it was defensive..."

Aberdonia considered this. "That honestly sounds like a good idea, combining our magic. And, yeah, grabbing anything you can find is generally a good idea. Especially if the opponent in question can't grab onto it," he added, shuddering at the memory of the mutated alligator-raccoon hybrid he'd fought a few weeks back.
The Senshi of Papyrus nodded. "I think anybody who's not worried who knows something's going on is either crazy, or completely out of the loop. I don't know if this would cause everyone to work together, but...this might be the perfect opportunity to find out."
Getting to his feet and turning toward Totoro, he replied, "My magic is for making shields--"
As he spoke, the back of his mind screamed a warning in response to the suddenly nauseating ping against his senses that marked the presence of a monster. And one jacked up on something, by the feel of it. Worse, very close by.
"--like this one. PAPYRUS PROTECTION!" he shouted, aiming the shield between the chibi and the monster, looking for anything he could use to hit it with. Yay, more tree branches. Oh, well. Better than nothing.
Beyond the shield, there was a snarling roar of anger as claws scraped furiously against the reeds. "You might want to run for it, Totoro, my shield will follow you for the next half minute!"
The youma realized that the ambush had failed as a wall of papyrus reeds shot up in front of its slavering muzzle. It roared in disappointment and rage, scrabbling against the reed. No easy targets, these senshi. But if they were still new enough and fresh enough, maybe it could still snack on a starseed.Quote: Papyrus ProtectionAberdonia calls out the name of his attack and conjures a shield made from papyrus; it is six feet wide and six feet tall. The chibi senshi nodded as Aberdonia said it sounded like a good idea. And made a note that making sure it was things the opponent couldn't grab. Totoro gave a half chuckle, "Well true, I hope no one has hit that level of crazy."
He really wouldn't want to meet someone crazy enough not to be worried, out of the loop was fine. But straight up crazy could be a solid issue. He nodded, "Maybe it's enough, after all we all live here, it might not last but I don't think that anyone can dispute we all don't live here."
The Chibi tilted his head when Aberdonia said his magic was for making shields and he suddenly felt the youma behind him. He squeaked getting up and jumping back away from the youma as he heard the other call his attack.
"Ohhhh." He stopped when he was told to run and nodded, but not before calling his attack, "I hope this works --- DABBLING TOUCH!"
He retreated back some where he was out of reach of the youma looking for something useful to help beat the youma with. Maybe he could just scramble into one of the near by trees... actually that was an idea. He headed for the nearest tree. Hoping it'd give him an advantage little paw shoes making climbing the tree a little bit interesting. "If I was lucky and my attack worked, it'll be more sensitive to touch."Quote: Sailor Scout Attack: Dabbling Touch When Sailor Totoro calls this attack he can choose one target. This target becomes sensitive to being touched. This attack causes them to be 25% more sensitive. So if they're given a normal punch, that might would cause them to say 'ow' this would hurt 25% more than it normally would. This attack also increases the sensitivity to magic that touches the target's skin - however, it doesn't increase the damage. There's also a small chance this attack could backfire on Tortoro and not work, or hit someone other than his intended target (including teammates). Totoro can use this attack 3 times and the effect lasts for 15 seconds.
