xxxxxโพMusical Benson has a natural talent for music and can learn just about any instrument you put in front of her. While not very good at writing music, she can read and understand the notes and is great at playing them.
xxxxxโพBorn Leader No matter what it is, Benson always finds herself leading. From a very young age, she was able to take charge of a situation and single out a strategy.
xxxxxโพNoticeable Whatever she does, she seemed to have a commanding appearance. She not much the bossy type, but people seem to want to listen to her.
xxxxxโพTalkative Once she gets started, it's hard to get her to stop talking. Benson makes friends everywhere she goes and chats with folks in line, which often annoys people.
xxxxxโพSupportive She's a good friend and she will back her friends up on almost anything. Good at giving advice, great at listening, and down for a fight if the situation calls for it.
xxxxxโพDedicated There isn't much that can stop her from getting what she wants once she's set her mind to it. It's hard to sway her heart from wanting what she wants and it takes a very persuasive person to do it.

Her father, "Big Al" works at Heathrow International Airport in Baggage and her mother is a Professor of Medicine at King's College London. All in all, Benson had a pretty easy life growing up. Her parents had tried a lot of different activities for Benson since she didn't take to sports as well as Xander. They found she took to music quite well and set her up with many different music lessons to keep her busy while they were at work.xxx๐ฎ๐ธ๐ฝ๐๐๐ ๐ด๐๐ถ๐๐xxxxxxWhen she was six, in her first year at Bigland Green Primary school, she met her soon to be best friend Olivia Scott-Wright. Both girls shared a love for music and could play multiple instruments. They also lived pretty close by, so they got to hang out quite often. The two of them often joked about starting a band and becoming world famous musicians. Just as she was getting ready to start secondary school, she was informed that her best friend was apparently going to some super posh secondary school in Scotland and it was one that she couldn't go to as well. Liv wouldn't explain more and just said they could hang out on summers and holiday breaks. Bennie was miffed at her friend for ditching her but a few weeks without her had the girl missing her best friend. Benson went to Oaklands Secondary and quickly emerged as a top student. She had her focus set on music, but her inability to successfully write her own stuff had her switch to music production. Thankfully she had a lot of activities with school to keep her busy until she could see her best friend again.
xxxOver winter break, Liv invited Benson to a concert to celebrate her birthday and said she'd finally get to meet Roxie, her best friend from school. In Liv's bedroom, she accidentally revealed that Olivia was magic and that she went to a magic school. Bennie didn't believe her at first, but Liz demonstrated some magic when she arrived with Roxie. Elizabeth said they'd have to take away Bennie's memory of the encounter, but she begged not to and insisted she'd pass the WOMBAT exams Liv told her about. She studied hard, working with Liz, and passed them right before the summer break started. Throughout the year, while the rest of the band was at Hogwarts, Benson managed the band's social media. Since she couldn't send updates to them, she prepared a bunch of updates for the winter break, then summer break.
