xxx𝓟𝒆𝓻𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓲𝓽𝔂xxx xxxxx⇾Pʀᴀᴄᴛɪᴄᴀʟ Radovan believes that there’s not any real reason to do things without a task behind them. He doesn’t see a need for painting, crafts, or other such creativity. The only real creativity he doesn’t mind are things related to food, and even then, it’s only because everyone needs food to live.
xxxxx⇾Rᴇᴀʟɪsᴛɪᴄ Life simply sucks sometimes, and Rad’s not here to sugar-coat that fact. He tries not to be overly optimistic or pessimistic, since he believes it causes one to not truly experience life.
xxxxx⇾Fɪᴇʀᴄᴇʟʏ Lᴏʏᴀʟ It’s insanely hard to get in Radovan’s good graces, but once you have, you’ve gotten yourself a protector. Of those he cares about, he would sacrifice anything to keep them safe. If you were to cross him, it would be with your final breath.
xxxxx⇾Sᴛʀɪᴄᴛ Radovan is strict in just about every way. He’s strict with his diet, exercise, daily routine... and his personality. He is often wearing a scowl and he dislikes people that dally about.
xxxxx⇾Iɴᴛᴇʟʟɪɢᴇɴᴛ Even when he’s not dedicating time to studies, Radovan is wildly intelligent. He treats everything as a learning opportunity and tries to gather knowledge wherever he can.
xxxxx⇾Iɴᴅᴇᴘᴇɴᴅᴇɴᴛ Even without the Antonov’s aggressive independence, Radovan would have been preferred solo anyway. He doesn’t much care for crowds or social activities and is much happier at home with tea and a good book.

xxx𝒞𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹𝒽𝑜𝑜𝒹xxx Radovan was the fifth born son of Markus and Ivona Antonov. Even as a small child, Rad preferred to be alone, though he was often forced into activities with his brothers. He was raised early on as a member of his father’s “Soldați perfecți”, despite his wish to be alone with his books. The big advantage was that he also learned dueling as a kid, which was a fun advantage.
The older brothers tended to be a lot more... rough, while Radovan tried to walk a careful line. Serghei, the brother born a few years after him, also seemed to be softer than the older brothers, so Rad did his best to protect his brother.... without Serghei knowing, of course.
When Radovan was nearing 11 years old, the surprise of a lifetime came along. Apparently father had had a daughter with a random Welsh lady... and now the kid had to live with them. Of course, Father and Mother were quite unhappy, but they were forced to keep track of her, thanks to the British and Romanian Ministries. It was... odd.
xxx𝒮𝒸𝒽𝑜𝑜𝓁 𝒴𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓈xxx But that year also brought along Radovan’s entrance into Durmstrang. There, he hoped his brothers would leave him alone, but of course, that didn’t happen. Instead they dragged him along to the dueling club, which helped hone his already talented skill with magic. Whenever he wasn’t trapped by his brothers, Rad found time to hide away in the kitchens. It was a bit of a rough start, but he managed to teach himself the basics of cooking.
Taking a note out of young Llewella’s book, he found himself sneaking around both school and home, cooking whenever he couldn’t be caught. He normally didn’t much like creativity, but he just felt at ease within the cozy comfort of a kitchen.... not that anyone in his family could know.
As the years went by, he continued furthering his education, improving his skill across the board. Thankfully, he graduated as one of the top of his year, though he also unknowingly cemented his place among Father’s ‘Perfect Soldiers’.
xxx𝒜𝒹𝓊𝓁𝓉𝒽𝑜𝑜𝒹xxx Following graduation, Radovan was forbidden from getting a job that wasn’t “father approved”, which made him angry. He didn’t want to just stay home and train for whatever nonsense Father was waiting for. It was around then that Serghei broke the mold. He left Durmstrang and got approved for a transfer to Hogwarts! It fractured the family a bit, with Serghei being deemed a traitor and the boys being forced to try and seek revenge... but secretly (way down deep), Radovan was quite proud of his brother. While still in Romania, Rad worked to make sure he had an escape plan in place as well. Who cared about being a traitor if his other option was to be trapped in a cage for life?
