xxxVikram is the second child born to Arjun and Chanda Bhattacharyya and the younger sibling of Fatima. He was born at Broadgreen Hospital in Liverpool where he was raised alongside his sister. Vikram's father, Arjun, is a wizard, attended Hogwarts and works part time in the Ministry's Department of Mysteries. He also manages the family's holdings in several companies. Vik's mother, Chanda, is a squib and owns a pastry shop in Liverpool. Both families come from money and they live a very comfortable life. His sister Fatima is two years older than him. When Vikram was four years old, he younger brother Kavi was born. Vikram attended Bank View School when he turned four, joining his sister at the private school. His parents also had a charm school private tutor for him as well. As Fatima's eleventh birthday approached, Vik was both happy and upset; happy for his sister to be attending Hogwarts, but also upset that he wouldn't see much of her. However, no Hogwarts letter arrived for her, confirming the family's suspicions that she was a Squid like their mother. When she cried, Vik tried to comfort his big sister, in the process having his first display of magic. That only served to make her sadder, though she soon forgave him. On his eleventh birthday, he received his Hogwarts letter and it was his big sister who planned the party to celebrate.

xxxVikram's first year at Hogwarts was a mix of conflicting emotions for the boy. When he arrived, he was Sorted into Slytherin which was opposite to his father's Gryffindor. However, his father still approved of him and sent him many Slytherin related gifts. He did well in school. However, he routinely got lost in the castle while exploring.

xxxSecond year saw Vikram continue to excel in classes and he continued to explore, poking his head into many different empty classrooms. He even attempted to climb the Ravenclaw Tower, but only made it a little up the building. He carried his brand new broom with him, just in case. Detention was a welcome side effect of his attempt, but he steeled his resolve that he would succeed in climbing the buildings.

xxxAt the start of third year, Vikram formed the Wanderlust Society, a club for adventurers to take hikes and explore the castle. He also reattempted to climb the Ravenclaw Tower, this time making it halfway to the top. During Quidditch try-outs, Vikram made the main team and only allowed one goal during the season.

xxxVikram's fourth went pretty swimmingly. He made the main team again, beating out Jaelah who returned from her year abroad. In Quidditch, he did pretty well, only allowing one goal through despite many shots taken at the goals. He did succeed in scaling the Ravenclaw Tower, which left one to conquer, the Astronomy Tower.

xxxFifth year, Vikram had a good Quidditch year. They also played a scrimmage game and Vikram played Chaser, rather than Keeper, which was pretty fun. He didn't do great in the game, but had a lot of fun. He also got to experience captainship in the scrimmage and they won. He didn't study much for his O.W.L. exams but did amazing in the ones he expected he would, failing the ones he already planned on dropping.

xxxVikram had an exciting sixth year. He was especially happy to not have to take the boring classes anymore. Quidditch was exciting and Vikram had an astounding year, defending his goals almost every single time they were approached. The year was also big because he confronted Csuri and they started a relationship. First it was only physical, but around the middle of the year, it turned into a real relationship. He even invited her join him during a week long trip to Germany to see the Quidditch World Cup.

xxxOver the summer, Vikram and Csuri attended the Quidditch World Cup and he treated her to a fully luxurious week in Germany. When it came time to go back to school, Vikram was relaxed when it came to classes, but he spent a lot of time regulating Csuri's stresses. He sneaked her snacks and meals to keep her eating. Vikram donated some brooms to the Wanderlust club and passed it off to Persephone. He also gave one of his brooms to Jazz Blackthorne. After discovering Jazz's ability to make themed cakes, he wound up getting their mom a job at his mother's bakery. Vikram threw Csuri an eighteenth birthday party, which inadvertently would lead to them getting pregnant, though that wasn't something they'd learn until the end of the school year. Upon the discovery and revelation, Vikram proposed to Csuri... twice... yet she was still freaking out and didn't realize he was being serious. On the plus side, Slytherin won the Quidditch Cup that year.

Csuri often struggles to see the best parts of herself. Even when other people compliment her, she tends to brush it off and assume they're lying or trying to be mean to her. If asked, she will say things that are somewhat good, then deflect the conversation. The more someone knows her, the more they would be able to tell when she is struggling with her self-esteem.

xxxxx⇾Cʀᴇᴀᴛɪᴠᴇ:
Despite her seeming preference for logic, Csuri has a few ways she can really showcase her creativity. Most of the time, it is highlighted in her cooking, but it can also be seen in other ways. Even in the tasks that seem entirely logic based, little hints of her creativity shine through. Sometimes it's as simple as perfectly color-coded notes, but sometimes it's far more intricate.

xxxxx⇾Rᴇsᴇʀᴠᴇᴅ:
Csuri has become incredibly good at bottling up her emotions over the years. She rarely tells anyone about her feelings or thoughts, partially because she's afraid of becoming more outcast than usual. It takes a lot to get her to speak about herself, even in the barest of terms.

xxxxx⇾Iɴᴛᴇʟʟɪɢᴇɴᴛ:
Csuri is a incredibly smart young woman. She reads books and learns quickly, even though she'll always refuse to answer questions in school. She is incredibly studious, and loves taking time to learn new things. She very nearly always has her nose in a book, or she is working on making lists, charts, or diagrams. Her only real academic weakness is with math.

xxxxx⇾Tʀᴜsᴛᴡᴏʀᴛʜʏ:
Csuri doesn't trust many people, but she will always prove her trust. She would never betray a friend, nor would she ever let spill a secret given to her. The few in her inner circle can count on her to do anything it takes to prove her devotion to them. Of course, should someone betray her trust, they will find themselves never able to reclaim it.

Secretly, Csuri is a total perfectionist. This manifests in her schoolwork, writing, and other small tasks she does. It's rare to see her hand in an assignment that she didn't spend hours on, revising and editing constantly, and she does that with any sort of project. Unfortunately, most projects are things affecting only her, so it's rather hard to see her passion of perfection sometimes.

Csuri was born to a nice little family, or so it seemed. It didn't take long for her to realize that they could only be perfect in pictures. Of course, she didn't know everything, but it came to light that her dad was cheating, her mom had a spending problem... and neither particularly cared about Csuri. She'd only been created to help them look more like a perfect family. And because babies solved everyone's problems, right? So Csuri was mostly raised by her grandma, but the woman was very, very old. She was struggling to raise a baby, then eventually she had to give the actual parents an ultimatum. Either they took care of Csuri, or she would send Csuri off with a foster clinic. Of course, both parents determined that it would raise too many questions if the baby just... vanished, so they decided to give it a try. It... did not go well. CPS came and took Csuri away, moving her to an orphanage. So instead of a nice foster family somewhere, she had to be here with a bunch of other kids. It seemed some of them were able to get scooped up right away, but then there were some kids that had so many frickin problems that they'd probably be here until they retired. Now Csuri was one of them. Great.

Despite being put in Wool's at the tender age of five, Csuri was never chosen by any of the families that came by with the hopes of adopting. It reminded her of that one older kid that'd been there forever. But, all it did for Csuri was turn her heart cold. If they didn't want her, she didn't want them. Instead, she made friends with her school librarian and took more and more books back to Wools. If she spent all her time in fantasy, it made her life a little more bearable. Finally, on her eleventh birthday, she received her Hogwarts letter and felt she was finally able to escape. Maybe she could spend winters and summers there....

First year... honestly sucked pretty bad. Csuri had super dumb roommates in Slytherin, no friends, no fun clubs... none of the things the other kids talked about. But at least if she kept up her frown, most people left her alone. She learned quickly that she couldn't do transfiguration (or most magic, honestly) to save her life. One of the older kids, Brianna Quinn-Smith, apparently took pity on her and tried to help. There was also someone's pet fox that somehow managed to teach her more than the teacher, which probably wasn't good for the school's image...

That winter break, Csuri had stayed at school in order to avoid returning to the orphanage. While holed up in an empty room and being sad, that fox seemed to find her again... only to reveal himself to be one of the teachers. The two talked for a while, and it concluded with Professor Narain asking to adopt her. With an agreement, Csuri switched from Douglass to Narain over the next summer. Since she'd spent time with Brianna and her brother, Ron at the last quidditch game and had managed to spot the snitch from the stands, Brianna had asked (begged, really) to have her try out for the quidditch team the next year. So over the summer, she practiced.

Second year, Csuri continued spending time mostly alone, other than when she was dragged onto the pitch to play quidditch alongside the other Slytherins. And it blew up spectacularly. Even with all her practicing (in between her studying), Csuri managed to lose the snitch in all three games. Brianna put the blame on the fact she'd been up against 3 seventh years on the other houses, but it didn't help Csuri feel better.

So the next year, she practiced even harder. And that year, Slytherin swept the games. She caught all three times, including when they had to play during a blizzard. It helped that Brianna had trusted her to take on the role of Vice Captain. Third year, Csuri had also been social enough to join one other club, namely the chess club. They played for "fun", but Csuri played to absolutely crush her competition.

Fourth year wasn't terribly interesting. The biggest thing was that Csuri lost her second game and they had victory in their clutches... except stupid Ravenclaw's stupid Chasers got a lot of points and stole the cup. It was stupid! Over the summer, though, she was shocked to receive a Prefect badge in her school letter. Were the professors drunk when they picked the prefects this year????

Fifth year was a mess of studying and trying to keep afloat. She did her best in quidditch, though Slytherin came in second behind Ravenclaw. She did also make a friend in Alice McNamara, after the younger discovered her in the kitchen. Turned out Alice was just as much of a cook as Csuri, and even made sure she had food while Csuri was in studying spirals.

Over that summer, Csuri was pleased to discover her hard work paid off. She got a flush of all Os in her OWLs. For that, she treated herself to two new books. Back at school, she dove right back into work. Between quidditch training and NEWT level classes, she found herself both very busy and very stressed. It led to her temper being shorter than usual.

Vikram had spent one day pestering her a little extra, and it ended in a fight. She punched him through a closet door, he kicked her knee out from under her..... they ended up doing more than planned. Holy cow. They met up a few more times, usually whenever Csuri needed to blow off steam. During the second game, Csuri shattered her shoulder and messed up some ribs, resulting in Vikram opting to try and play caretaker.

She told him that he didn't actually care, he got mad and slapped her before they both stormed off. It took a whole overnight, but they both realized they somehow worked pretty well together. Csuri asked him to keep it secret, but accepted that they were dating... sort of. She cooked for him, allowing a third person in on her secret. At the end of the year, he asked her to go on vacation with him, which she figured was a pretty huge step. She accepted, however, if only because she'd always wanted to see a World Cup.

Seventh Year was absolutely insane. Of course, it was mostly centered around studying for NEWTs, but also trying to find time to spend with friends. She even made a better effort to attend clubs hosted by her friends. It made them happy, and that made her happy...ish. But then at a Prefect meeting, Charlotte and Bieito declared they would be hosting a giant ball. Oh good, that wouldn't take away study time at all (cue dramatic eye roll). The Quidditch season started off, though not in their favor. She somehow lost to Sebastian Moon of all people.

After struggling to be seen outside of the library at any time after winter holidays, Hesperia insisted on taking her to Hogsmeade for her birthday. It wasn't hard to guess that there was going to be a surprise party, and it was most likely hosted by Vikram. Vikram absolutely loved parties, and Csuri was trying to prepare herself for whatever chaos he'd planned. She was prepared for a million people, but instead it was just her closest friends! They had a fun evening, after which Csuri discovered Vikram had booked them a room overnight. They drank a few too many toasts, but they did have fun.

After that, it was back to work. Quidditch, she had gotten back under control, winning the second and third games. Then it would be up to the Gryffindor Chasers to determine the overall victor. To everyone's surprise, Slytherin ended up with the cup! Despite her, Moon, and Charlotte all catching 2/3 snitches in games, Hesperia's aggression with the quaffle won them the season. And, honestly, there was no one she'd rather hoist the cup with than her best friend.

There was also the dance, where she got to wear fancy clothes and spend the evening with Vikram, trying her best to wiggle out of actually dancing. Secretly, however, it turned out to be pretty fun. It was a couple weeks later that Hesperia convinced Csuri to go to the hospital wing for her bizarre illness. The horrific truth was that she was pregnant. Very, very pregnant. She told Vikram, who promptly proposed (twice), though she mistook that for just stress. After a really long cry, she pushed that out of her head enough for a stressful run of NEWT exams. But then... it was all over. She had graduated.... and had no idea what to do next.

Adulthood started in a whirl of chaos. She was invited to go to Vikram's house for dinner and introductions, which immediately went haywire. All because Vikram was already engaged?!?! His father shouted at him in Hindi, probably thinking that Csuri wouldn't know the language. Then was the most awkward dinner ever, where his Baba decided to skip the meal, and his Mata and older sister took turns interrogating her.

The next morning, she talked with Fatima and Chanda in a less intimidating environment (on a sunroom with kittens!!), mostly about Vikram being a menace. Apparently it wasn't exclusive to her. After that, she tucked in their expansive private library, where she was content to stay until her eyes dried out. Unfortunately for her, Fatima came to collect her and took her to the sunroom, where Vikram was standing, all dressed up. He explained that the previous engagement had been called off, then he proposed to Csuri, this time with a super fancy amethyst ring. She hesitated a second, but she agreed.

The next few weeks saw her all but moved in with the Bhattacharyya family. She'd even gotten to cook them a few different dinners, and feeling really good when they all seemed to genuinely like it. That was kinda cool. They also went to the doctor (with Chanda, because Csuri was a little scared) and found out their baby was a girl. That was a little reassuring, in a way.

After that, in between wedding planning, baby planning, and occasional attempts at video games or watching telly, Csuri got a call from Ismini, saying Hesperia had been attacked and was in the hospital. She left immediately, barely having time to put on shoes. She found out what happened, holding Hesperia close to keep her safe in some way. She also asked Hes to be her maid of honor, and her friend happily agreed.

Only a short while later, their wedding appeared. It was in a castle with a private library! There were a million and a half people, but the day ended with her becoming a Bhattacharyya, and that was really the biggest part of the day, was it not?
