It was an extraordinary day for their small settlement in Jauhar. He had woken up to plumeting temperatures which was needless to say most unusual for their steamy rainforest home. The radaku didn't seem to mind with their fur coats but the same could not be said for him and the janarim.
He went to the barn and found something he wasn't expecting; a shoe. But it didn't belong to him or his family for one thing only some of them tended to wear shoes, for another it was the wrong style no one had this color of leather here. Hmm. How curious. This of course made him poke around a bit. He found more clues. Some crumbs from some sort of bread in the alley of the barn. Some guilty looking radaku wagging their tails back and forth. He would have to say something to his parents but for now he just wanted to assuage his curiosity.
"Where are you?" He muttered. For obviously there was a stranger in their midst. Maybe they had brought the cold. stranger things had happened.

It had gotten so cold and he had been so unprepared that he had needed somewhere to seek shelter that would hold his own body heat and then some. The empty hay stall in a nearby barn was what he found late in the night. He told himself he would tell the family once he awoke in the morning.
However one of the family members had come out to the barn and started poking around. This was really not how he wanted to introduce himself and plead his case. He wouldn't mind helping out until the weather had improved and he could return to his little cave. Soon enough it would be time to find a job locally and maybe find a proper place to sleep with you know walls. He was proud of how far he had come though, how long he had survived without any sort of help from an outside source. But weather he could not battle so easily and this cold snap had messed with his plans, but better to survive to continue those plans than to be stuck in that cave indefinitely.
