As the year comes to an end, an abnormal cold snap has taken over Tendaji. The mountains of Zena are covered in a blizzard, and even the desert of Oba is feeling a bit of an abnormal chill.

As the year comes to an end, an abnormal cold snap has taken over Tendaji. The mountains of Zena are covered in a blizzard, and even the desert of Oba is feeling a bit of an abnormal chill.

Ika had never explored the vast reaches of Tendaji and wasn't particularly vexed by it. Beyond her visit to Zinris any opportunity for it simply hadn't been available and she'd never had time to question it. There was so much to be done in Chibale that Ika's days had never taken her far from Jauhar, even when she'd found time to visit family. So when the winter season settled over them the chill always came, but it had never been unbearable. A welcomed relief, actually, compared to the wet heat.
This year though? This year was awful. They'd barely just crossed into Jauhar when a cold so harsh cause her skin to pimple and she couldn't keep her body from shaking. It was enough to bring the hybrid indoors, and not just that, but burrowed under the thickest blanket she could find, which in true Jauhar fashion, wasn't that thick at all.
