Tis the season for gift giving, a sense of celebration as the year comes to an end. You get all the gifts you expect, and give some out as well. However, a strange, unmarked gift has arrived. You have no idea who sent it, or what it might be. Is it something from an admirer, or possibly a bit more sinister?
[ Your character receives an unexpected gift. Feel free to answer this prompt exploring the thoughts around such thing, the suspicion or confusion, maybe even resolving it with finding out who the gift giver was. Maybe it's someone you know, but it's a surprise. Maybe it's a mistake. The only way to find out is to open the present. ]

It couldn't be said that Ika was an early bird; at least not by choice. Having grown up in a family of late risers, she'd become accustomed to late nights and sleeping well past noon. Still, certain things could rouse her, such as an persistent knock on the room she was currently sharing with Quynh. They had just passed Jauhar's borders when the pair decided to rest for the night and despite sharing a room their beds were separate, putting Ika closer to the annoying knock. She rolled over with a grumbled curse, raising just enough to glare at the door before pulling herself out of bed.
"...place better be on fire," She groused. The hybrid gave her hip a scratch as she unlocked the door, swinging it open in preparation for a conversation she didn't want to have and seeing...no one? With her frown deepening, she looked left, then right and finally...down. Down to the little bundled package with a tied ribbon sitting just outside their door. Curiously she bent down to lift it before stepping back into the room, the door softly sliding closed behind her.
She hadn't ordered anything to be delivered so maybe Quynh had? But who would have come this early? When the sun had barely started to rise?
