You start off with 8000 Life Points
You must have a deck of 40 to 60 cards
15 card extra deck and side deck are optional
Levels 1 to 4 can be Normal Summon or set
Levels 5 and 6 requires 1 tribute to Summon
Levels 7 or more requires 2 tributes to Summon

How to Ritual summon is you need a Ritual spell card and the right Ritual monster, you also need the required tributes to match or exceed to their level to Ritual summon the monster

How to Fusion Summon is quite simple if you have the requirements and a fusion card like Polymerization then you can fusion Summon the monsters, some monsters don't require Polymerization like Contact Fusion, but only curtain monsters don't need Polymerization, and some Fusion monsters need a curtain fusion card, and that's how to Fusion Summon

How to Pendulum Summon, you see some monsters are part spell card, and that's a Pendulum monster, you place for example Timegazer Magician and Stargazer Magician in the Pendulum Zones which are in the Spell and Trap card zones, then you can Pendulum Summon monsters from your hand that meet within the Pendulum Scale, and that's how you Pendulum Summon

How to Link Summon, when you meet the requirements to Link Summon like for example Decode Talker, you sent the 3 effect monsters to your graveyard and then you can Link Summon Decode Talker in the Extra Monster Zone, you can perform a extra link as long as the Link monsters are pointing to both zones and that's how to Link Summon

Some monsters need 3 tributes because of their effects, like for example Slifer the Sky Dragon need three tributes to normal summon Slifer the Sky Dragon, some need to activate their effect, like Gilford the Lightning to activate his effect, so you got to pay attention to the card when you play it

Some monsters need requirements to summon them, like Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon needs Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon to tribute, some cards are easy to summon, some are difficult, just remember play your cards right and you'll win

Some monsters has a ability to summon when they are curtain requirements, like Cyber Dragon and Big Piece Golem, remember you can look at the effects of the monsters to find a way to bring our high level monsters without a tribute
