Description: Designers, this is one of my favorite holidays, and I want to celebrate it with all of you! That's right, you're sending your models to a galaxy far far away for this final challenge. Are they with the rebellion? A jedi? A sexy sith lord to make us question the real meaning of good and evil?! This Star Wars day, I'm leaving it up to you. But it has to be obvious where the models are. Some notable locations and scenes to play with might include a cantina, a speeder, lots and lots of sand. Like so much sand. Get creative and have fun with this. You model has to stay a human (sadly) so no changing skin or base features, and you can only use one item that was released in ode to Star Wars. One hat or lightsaber or whatever. Feel free to go as literal or as aesthetic as you want, and May The Force Be With You. Due Date: May 10th
"What if the democracy we thought we were serving no longer exists?" - Padmé, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
Full disclosure: I was originally a little stumped when it came to Star Wars--I'm not super into it, but I've watched Episodes I-VI when I was a kid The first idea that jumped into my head was to do a cosplay of Padmé Amidala--either fighting in the gladiatorial arena on Geonosis (Attack of the Clones) or her iconic red look as Queen of Naboo The gladiator arena look felt too simple for a challenge at this late stage in the competition... so, go big or go home! While I love to make cosplay avatars, I also have to admit that as a designer, doing a straight cosplay doesn't feel quite right either Given that the timing of this week's challenge coincides with the Met Gala, I decided to merge the two concepts--what if Naboo had its own haute couture event?
Overlooking the capital city Theed, Maeve dons a high-fashion interpretation of the traditional ceremonial outfit of the Queen of Naboo The key features of Queen Amidala's original garment that I wanted to keep and embellish are its elaborate embroidery and striking silhouette (large mantle, wide sleeves, bell-shaped skirt) I'm absolutely thrilled to bits that I was able to recreate the shape of the high collared mantle; it took very particular layering to get it to look exactly right My favourite thing is how Reve Rouille (cavalier's mantle) exactly covers the tiny stripes of bare upper arm because the sleeves are actually detached! I also love the symmetrical embroidered swoops of the Kaguyahime overdress, which allowed me to create a contrasting centre panel--in a sort of inverse reference to the original dress's embroidered tabard
As for Amidala's headdress, I took some artistic liberties in order to reimagine it given the constraints of gaia's items; I combined a gold and black face-framing armour with offblack braided hairloops and accessorized with carnage red flowers and forehead jewelry Due to not wanting to obscure Maeve's base features (skin tone and lip colour), I didn't paint her face white but still opted to incorporate ivory eyeshadow, ultra pale blush and added blush dots to emulate Amidala's makeup All in all, I'm personally really happy with my look this week and it's also made me feel like rewatching the movies!
"So this is how liberty dies: with thunderous applause." - Padmé, Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
❁❁❁━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ۞Designer: ThoughtsofaDame ۞Model: Naomi ۞Status: Complete ۞Don't Force it ۞VarykinoVilla ۞ Star Wars isn't my thing. I'll get that out of the way first. In fact its my anti-interest, My everything I know about (Star Wars) I have learned against my will. Honestly its nothing to do with the series itself. Its the fact that Star Wars is my dads special interest and He desperately tried to make me like it. Pro tip if you want you child to like something don't sit a 6 year old down and make them watch for 6 and a half hour straight with no distractions. That said there was ONE thing about star wars I did like and that was the costume design.
I wanted to be a costume designer for a huge portion of middle/high school years and my dad in frankly one of his best attempts to bond bought me a book all about the costume design of the first six films. I loved that book, I wish I still had it but it lives with my dad in Florida. My favorite parts were about designing for Padme Amidala. They really took her clothing very seriously. Her looks are some of the most iconic of the series, definitely the most iconic of the prequels.
I knew I would take my inspiration from her. The question was where to set the look. The challenge was VERY clear that the setting needed to be a specific place from the movies. Something recognizable, not simply "in space" or science fantasy looking. I had originally wanted to set it in the palace on Naboo. That didn't pan out. I couldn't find particularly good reference images and looking through Gaia I just wasn't finding the right background to work with. I decided instead to choose Lake Country Naboo, with the focus being Varykino Villa. This was the setting where Anakin and Padme's relationship became romantic.
I created the background. Peaceful Ruins Makes up the majority of the image with the leaves of Dreamy Landscapes in the foreground and the Herbal Synthesis flower patch adding to the midground right around her feet. This give the final look a real sense of depth. I think this looks stunningly like the images of the villa considering the restrictions inherent with using gaias catalog.
The dress itself is made up of many layers which is classic for Naboo fashion. Naboo Fashion is very modest Padme as Amidala is often wearing very elaborate clothing with lots of embroidery and layers of detailed textiles. Its only once they get to the villa that we see her showing much skin, and even then she is still reasonable covered. Blood for the Blood God, Tsunbani no Monogatari, and Peep Sheep make up the body of the dress. Fabella Genesis and create the sleeves and cloak. All of these item are from the newer color scheme Aocha which I'm falling in love with.
The rest of the look consists of jewelry and accents matching the main color scheme. The most prominent of which is the head piece I built for the look. The hair styles worn in star wars especially by Naboo Queens is just as intricate as the garments. In this final challenge before top 3 I did not want to add or alter Naomi's base hair but having that elaborate hair was crucial so I created it by adding a crown, decorative buns and some hair clips.
I'm really proud of this look and at the catalog of looks I've created thus far in the competition. I hope to be part of the top three but either way I'm incredibly proud of how far I've come.Oh and I actually got lost in star wars lore doing research for the challenge! It was really fun and I think I might actually want to give Star Wars another chance.
Designers, I am so wildly proud of all you've done this cycle, and you should be so proud of yourselves and where you stand in the final three. Also glad you guys could pull out such amazing looks when none of you are Star Wars fans, haha. Everything is so tight at this point that every critique this week is on the most minute details. You have survived to the end and now you get to focus on your collections! And we can't wait to see what you do. heart
wishflower — Maeve • You nailed this challenge, managing to escalate a cosplay to something truly unique and special. The hands maybe weren't quite needed - as they were used - but you did a fantastic job. One judge couldn't think of any constructive criticism because it was so good.
ThoughtsofaDame — Naomi • You take the crown for best setting/background, it immediately transported me to the best place to fall in love. Beautiful composition, colors and all of the inspiration is clear, but the look didn't immediately scream Star Wars the way the other two entries did. Which is such a minor thing.
Picaru — Pearl • All hail Jedi Master Pearl! The window frame background chosen and the cloud city paired together was SO smart and lovely, and the outfit is great. Your description showed your passion and I loved it. Things felt a little bit empty though.

The Fashion Line ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Each finalist will create a theme within their brand, and build five (5) outfits that represent that motif throughout.
The theme can truly be anything. However, it must represent the Designer in a significant way, and the outfits themselves must tie into each other somehow. In this final test, the Judges are looking for signature style and cohesion — the Designer's own personal, preferred design aesthetic being properly featured. In other words, this final entry shouldn't showcase anything new or adventurous, but instead, embrace whatever brand the Designer has established for themselves throughout the cycle. So long as there is brand recognition, and commonality between their works of art, they can consider their fashion education complete.
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
The Designers' Model line-up will consist of three eliminated PC6 Models, plus their own Model, and each delegated Model must be present in the fashion line, with outfits catered to their base traits. For your will all be working with our lucky remaining model from this cycle: Lourdes! After the success of the last finale we wanted to keep with there being one model that you all worked with at once. No pressure!
The collection will be judged both individually and collectively. How well each look is styled, how creatively they're tailored to the Model, how well the outfits fit into the fashion line, how much overall brand recognition there is, and how well the description captures the collection, and the cycle as a whole.
All five design photos must be submitted within the same masterfully crafted post, and include: Fashion Line Title, Designer Name, Model Name, Alt Models' Names, Description, and Entry Status.
With the description, it is highly recommended that each finalist take the liberty to introduce themselves and their brand, explain their chosen theme and any muses, touch on motif evidence with a few sentences per outfit, and finally, end with a couple of words to commemorate their Project Catwalk experience. It's the Designer's last chance to plead their case as to why they should be King or Queen of the Catwalk!

Greetings! wishflower here! You can also call me Dee ♥ I'm a 28 year old sapphic who also likes typically likes bold sensory things--bright colours, strong flavours, and contrasting textures Many of my interests are multi-faceted, or even directly opposites. (I like reading books in quiet but also love going to loud concerts) Music has always been a steady presence in my life; I can't imagine a life without it. I love all sorts of genres but K-pop has been my greatest earworm over the past 13 years
Reflecting back on all my entries in this cycle, I noticed that colour was one of the key aspects I focused on while building each look For the finale, I decided to refer back to my entry (<< Next track: "Hitchhiking" by SHINee >>) for Challenge #1: Compliments & Complements There, I had showcased my love for K-pop and created a look that was inspired by the fashion of its 2nd generation I'm bring that theme back full-circle here with colourful punchy queer looks in my fashion line
The title of my collection, colour | artist : the story of identity, is in reference to some albums by my favourite artists--Poet | Artistby Jonghyun and also by SHINee, The Story of Light by SHINee, and the (unofficial queer anthem) song Identity by SHINee (LMAO not me spreading my Shawol agenda) I also drew influence from Cyndi Lauper's fashion of the 80s because it fits in well with the quirkiness of 2nd gen K-pop and, after all, these girls just wanna have fun ♫~ Broadly, each look contains what is essentially the whole rainbow spectrum, plus black and white (we don't talk about brown here, it's just dark orange >.<) As for style elements, there is a lot of variety of fabrics, patterns, and textures to the outfits and accessories; each girl wears layers (at least a jacket/overshirt), belts and chains, hats and/or hair accessories, boots, and statement makeup Each of the girls' backgrounds are the same sparkly pink-gold ombre, with different recolours of the Sakana Matsuri background cutter/frame. I opted for Sakana Matsuri because its bold and bright flowers bring the right amount of playful busyness
First, my main model Maeve ♥: tab I think her look is the quirkiest of the bunch, it couldn't be helped since I built the look around the Rocket Gal hat and the Rainbow Graffiti Hazard stockings/shoes combo tab She wears a puffy bomber jacket (with a leopard print panel) over a metal band tshirt, paired with a black leather skirt tab She accessorizes with a red leather studded choker, a blue belt, pink belts, and a fluffy boa laced with strings of pearls tab Her makeup is simpler than the other girls', though--her classic blue eyeshadow with some pink blush across her cheekbones
Next, Arden: tab With her ombre hair and nonchalant gaze, she is the Effortlessly Cool One(TM) of the group tab I built her look around her teal leather jacket (with spikes!) and the leopard hat--which I had fun accessorizing with clips and Sailor Moon hair bun clips tab She wears a yellow checkered tube top, black jeans and orange combat books, while she sports a subtle yellow-green eyeshadow and has purple stars painted on her cheeks tab She accessorizes with a red choker with attached draping chains, a purple cross-body purse, and a lesbian flag checkered pocket kerchief
As for Harper: tab I built her look around the Catty Strut coat--which I had previously used in my audition look for Maeve--because it's such a statement piece; she's the Fierce (read: sexy) one of the group tab She wears a cropped pink and purple vest over a black v-neck corset top paired with a red mini-skirt, black mesh detached sleeves, fishnet stockings, striped knee high socks, and tall black boots tab She accessorizes with a white beanie (decorated with pins), hair bows, hair ribbons, a pair of large circle-framed glasses, orange and black studded belts tab Given her already thick eyelashes, her makeup consists of royal blue eyeshadow and purple blush to enhance the depth of her gaze
For Zanna: tab With her poofy afro buns, I decided that she'd be the Sweet One of the group--her look is drawing more from Cyndi Lauper than from 2NE1 tab She wears an oversize off-the-shoulder white shirt on top of a mesh green goth shirt, black underbust corset, paired with a voluminous ruffly teal skirt, red leggings and black knee-high boots tab She accessorizes with a floral headband (layered with another bow and a heart pin!), large decora keychain and several delicate waist belts and chains tab Her makeup is glittery--shades of purple pink and blue sparkle around her eyes and cheekbones, in a wonderful contrast with her darker skin
Last but not least, Lourdes: tab With her gorgeous curls and mischievous smirk, she's the Playful and Spunky One of the group tab I built her look around the ultraviolet beanie (with built-in space buns?! wow!) and her makeup--yellow and blue eyeshadow, with pink blush and under-eye rhinestones tab She wears a belted top and choker combo, knee high white boots, and a lot of stripes--in her sleeves, on her skirt, and her rainbow-black stockings tab She accessorizes with a pink and white feather boa, sunglasses and lots of hairclips, a star earring, red and white checked back bow, several waist chains, and red off-the-shoulder suspenders
To sign off, I'm very thankful to have had the opportunity to be part of this cycle of Project Catwalk. It's a truly a great honour to have made it to the finale I loved seeing the looks made by the other designers and I learned a lot from them too--skills and aesthetic styles that I'll try incorporating into other avis in the future ♥ Happy Pride Month~ emotion_rainbow
Ephemeral Pleasures ________________________________________________________ ephemeral: adj. /əˈfem(ə)rəl/ lasting for only a short amount of time. gaia_sakura
Hello everyone! Picaru (or Maxie, if you prefer) here once again, and I am so jazzed to have made it to the finale for my very first Project Catwalk cycle! You may have gleaned from past entries that my personal style leans heavily feminine and detail-oriented, often with a nature-inspired or whimsical flair. I come from a fashion background IRL, and even with virtual avatars, I like to use my knowledge to create thoughtful silhouettes and harmonious color palettes that (hopefully) feel like they could plausibly translate to a real outfit. I love clothing that looks and feels soft and delicate, and in-person I wear whites and creams in the same way that many people wear almost exclusively black. I'm also a sucker for all things flowery, and I knew from the get-go that if I made it this far, my final collection was going to feature floral items in some way... preferably, lots of them. As you can see, this collection ended up being quite indulgent in that respect.
I touched on this a bit in my description for Challenge #5, but the past few months have been a little rough for me in terms of life stress and anxiety. One of the ways I've helped myself to cope is to take a lot of walks and appreciate the beauty of the world around me. When times are tough, I find it immensely helpful to take a step back, look at some birds and flowers, and find some ways to romanticize my life a little bit. Ultimately, this outlook became the inspiration for my final collection, and each look I've presented here is themed around a small moment of transient beauty. After all, nothing lasts forever, and so I think that these fleeting, ephemeral pleasures are to be all the more appreciated for it.
Tonal palettes (with an heavy emphasis on ivory), sheer textures, and floral motifs serve as the unifying forces between each look. This time I chose to use minimal, pared-down backgrounds to keep the details of the clothing at the focus. I love working with items that have some transparency, and I found that keeping the backgrounds simple and clean helped to keep the silhouettes from getting lost, as well as preserve the sort of ethereal quality that underlines my theme. I think what each model is dressed to personify should be fairly evident from styling alone, but I thought it would be nice to take you on a walkthrough for each look to expand on the details and share more on my thought process.
Starting off with the lovely Imani, who represents the morning mist. Her expression reads to me as cool, calm, and gentle, much like the wee hours of the morning where the fog hovers over meadows and lakes. I had initially envisioned her accent color to be a soft, silvery purple like lullytuft, but I didn’t love the available options for items in that scheme, so instead I pivoted to a dreamy cool-toned pink. My favorite detail in her look is the combination of the pink ruffled hem with the floaty, cloud-like overskirt, which gives me the impression of a flower bud amidst the haze. Her makeup is frosty and soft, with a little bit of a glowy cheek highlight that is reminiscent of sparkling dew drops.
Next is the dazzling Marina. I was struck by her passionate gaze and flowing red hair that gives the impression of movement, and thought she was the perfect model to represent a dancing butterfly. Her accent color is orange, which I think is a lovely complement to her complexion, and conjures the image of the iconic monarch butterfly. Her short, fluttering veil and trailing hemline also create the illusion of butterfly wings in her silhouette, tying into some of the more literal details like the butterfly-shaped fascinator. Her makeup look is vibrant and glimmery, with a sort of iridescent effect that is evocative of the sheen of a butterfly’s wings.
Next comes the stunning Cressida. With her warm and elegant vibe, she felt like the ideal model to represent rays of sunlight peeking through the clouds. Her features read as the most mature among my models, and so I felt that a longer gown with slightly less poof would suit her well. Her accent color is sunny yellow, tying in with some of the golden tones in her hair and eyes. She is adorned in a sheer gradient veil to symbolize the light coming from above, and her ribbon sash is intended to evoke sunbeams. A small detail I really love in this look is her arm pose, which could be read either as enjoying the sun on her skin or beckoning the viewer into a warm embrace, as if she is the sun herself. Lastly, her makeup look is golden and bronze-y to give a sort of sun-kissed look.
Rounding out my alt model lineup is Lourdes, whose bright smile and clean, effortless beauty felt perfect to embody an invigorating summer rain shower. Her lively, almost sporty vibe lends well to a shorter hemline, and the combination of her bodice, skirt, and elongated bustle creates a silhouette similar to a raindrop. Her accent color is light blue to tie in with her watery theme, and I'm particularly obsessed with the beaded sleeve details that look like falling droplets. Like Marina, I wanted her pose to convey movement, as if she were dancing in the rain. Her makeup was kept clean and simple to match the refreshing vibe of this look.
Last but never least, at the heart of my collection is my beloved Pearl, personifying flowers in peak bloom. Over the past few months I’ve observed the changing seasons through cycles of flowers—cherry blossom petals fall, then lilacs come into bloom, and as they fade in turn, the roses and rhododendrons start coming out to play—and Pearl’s look incorporates many types of flowers to represent this. As my main model, I wanted her look to feel the most impactful and grandiose, so Pearl has received the special honor of having a full ballgown silhouette and incredibly ornate hairpieces. Palette-wise, she has the most color in her look to evoke a resplendent garden, and inverse from my other models, ivory acts as an accent rather than the base. As the culmination of my collection, Pearl’s outfit carries some details from every model before her: Imani’s layered skirts and ruffled hem, Marina’s butterflies in her headpiece, Cressida’s yellow gradient, and pops of watery blue from Lourdes. Tying in with her primary outfit color, Pearl’s makeup is in her signature flushed petal pink.
To close things out, I wanted to say that I am so proud of this collection and how it represents me as an avatar designer. This experience has been such a delight, and I feel honored not only to have made it this far in the competition, but also to have managed a few wins along the way. No matter what comes next, I feel very proud of what I've achieved here! A big thanks to the all the judges and mentors, and I wish my fellow contestants the best of luck heart

wishflower — Maeve: Dear wishflower, It's amazing how much of an improvement your collection was compared to your first entry. I hope you're feeling proud of yourself; you’ve consistently shown that you're both hardworking and creative. This was such an interesting and personal collection. I enjoyed getting a glimpse into your mind and your tastes. There were so many aspects I loved - the boldness, the colours, and the clear K-pop influence all came together beautifully.
My favourite model from your lineup would have to be Lourdes; her makeup and pose were just a chef’s kiss. My second pick would probably be Zanna as she just looks so fun and spunky!
With how each model’s outfit has so many unique elements, it’s a bit hard to tell who the main model is meant to be. I wish you had given Maeve a bit more focus—something to make her stand out from the lineup. A little more clarity there could have made your vision even stronger.
Some parts of the collection felt a bit much for me personally, but that doesn’t take away from how impressive it was overall. Everything you achieved this cycle is something to be proud of. You've shown so much promise as a designer, and I really hope this is just the beginning of your time in Project Catwalk. I’d love to see you return in the future!
ThoughtsofaDame — Naomi: I was really glad to see you back in Project Catwalk, Dame. You're a strong, talented designer, and it's clear that with every new entry, your skills have grown. You've set the bar high for yourself throughout the competition, and yet you’ve continued to impress us time and time again.
While witchy themes can sometimes feel a bit overdone, you managed to bring a fresh take by adding your perspective and insight. I appreciated how you incorporated elements of yourself and your beliefs into the collection. I also loved how each model had a distinct aesthetic and colour scheme; it made your coven feel cohesive yet diverse.
From your lineup, my favourite looks were Lourdes’ and Priya’s. The choice of purple with gold accents for Lourdes was amazing; it really made her stand out. And Priya looked absolutely stunning in her colours. I especially adored the detail that she was inspired by your cousin; it added such a personal, touching layer to the design.
That said, your collection did feel a little underwhelming, not because it wasn’t good, but because we know just how amazing and unique your designs can be. It felt a bit too simple for someone with your creativity, haha! I hope you don’t hold back in the future. I understand how hard it can be to feel directionless sometimes, but I want you to remember that you’re an incredible person with a beautiful soul Don’t let that weight hold you down.
It’s been a joy to watch your work evolve throughout the cycle. Thank you for helping make this season such a delight!
Picaru — Pearl: Ah, Picaru, Picaru. So often, your designs were among my top picks, and they consistently aligned with my favourite aesthetics. I'm a big fan of your work; it's clear you know exactly what you’re doing and that you’re incredibly skilled. I'm so proud of you for persevering through the competition despite the obstacles you faced. As someone who also deals with anxiety, I feel you deeply.
Your fashion line is unmistakably you; it just screams "Picaru" in the best way. It’s visually stunning and thoughtfully put together. While the theme itself might not be the most unique, you still made it enjoyable and special. I especially appreciated the personal touches; this collection truly felt like a peaceful walk through nature with you by our side.
My favourite designs were probably Imani, Lourdes, and Pearl. Imani’s soft colours are just beautiful, and she gives off the vibe of a misty morning, even without the description, I would’ve picked up on that atmosphere. Lourdes’ outfit is perfect; I loved the raindrop details coming from her skirt. And Pearl looks absolutely breathtaking! I loved how her look brought together elements from the other models to form a cohesive and powerful finale.
There are a few small details that might feel a little off, but none of them are significant enough to take away from the overall strength of the collection.
This cycle was a testament to your talent and growth. You deserved that spot in the finale. Thank you for making this cycle truly unforgettable.

♥ Finale Thoughts! ♥
Designers, thank you. From the bottom of my heart thank you. Thank you for all the amazing looks this cycle. Thank you for sharing so much of yourselves with us. Thank you for your patience through every delay or spontaneous change in the line up. Thank you for being a part of this guild! None of this works or happens without amazing designers like you. All of you have been so creative, committed, and this was one of the hardest finales yet that I've had to judge. I got choked up trying to work on things, haha. I can't wait to see what you do next, and hope to see more from all of you! heartheart
wishflower — Maeve Your collection made me swoon! I love color and texture, and your collection absolutely delivered on that. Your growth this cycle has been incredible. I absolutely loved that you took us back to the very first challenge, and I love how this finale let me get to know you so much more. I think there were maybe a few too many ideas. Maeve got a little lost in the crowd, and a couple of your girls just kind of seemed like they were drowning in their looks. But the cohesion of the backgrounds? Love it. I love that you didn't hold back and gave this everything you had. heart
ThoughtsofaDame — Naomi The idea of this collection is so personal, and I love that you let us into your world like this. Thank you for sharing this with us. I've read several books on witchcraft and wicca, the overlap and the differences, and really enjoyed the information here. Over all though, you've given us such amazing looks this cycle that these end up falling a little bit short. Several girls didn't match their description, and as your muse I think Naomi could have had some more oomph. This is one of the best looks we've seen Priya in all cycle though and I love that. Thank you again for sharing this with us, and I am so excited to see what comes next. heart
Picaru — Pearl Thank you for bringing this collection into our lives! I'm so glad that all of these collections were so personal to the designers and it's so special to share them. I think you did the best job of shining a light on your main model, and also did the best look for Lourdes. The cohesion was also lovely! I fall closer to the "wear black all the time" side of the spectrum and you still had me hooked. I do think that Cressida reads just a little too bridal for what you were going for. You've had an amazing season and I hope you're as proud of yourself as I am. heart

My PC6 Finale Thoughts (Flames' Version)
wishflower, ThoughtsofaDame, and Picaru, congratulations on making it to the finale of Project Catwalk Cycle 6! emotion_bigheart I am the surprise judge to end your cycle. For those unfamiliar of me, I am iiiFlames, you can call me Flames. I am one of the Vice Captains of the guild. Nice to meet you, Cycle 6.
Though I am only judging your finale looks, I have been secretly spectating, on occasion, throughout the competition. And, wow! What a rollercoaster ride seeing each of you dominate the cycle. I adore every designer in this cycle, but I applaud you, final 3, for making it to the end. That being said, here are my thoughts for the fashion line of Cycle 6:
wishflower — Maeve: Dear wishflower (Dee), my fellow K-Pop lover, your love for the fashion that the genre brings, you have consistently shown throughout your entries. Despite the varied challenges that came your way, you managed to keep your brand and aesthetic upfront, and execute each look to a T. Your entries always manage to bring a smile to my face, as I always enjoy every look that you bring each challenge. Bagging 2 wins back to back, especially nearing the end, it was such a clutch move on your end, and I couldn't be more impressed than I already was, so that's saying a lot about your designs.
As for your finale collection, I can already tell at first glance that you've had a blast creating your fashion line. This collection is just so colourful and fun to look at. This is your peak entry yet, and as it should be, since it's the finale. The colours, the patterns, the clothing and the accessories overload. It's quite a lot to look at, but every single element on each item of every model works harmoniously. Not to mention, the make-up on each model is just chef's kiss. I love the bright colours on everyone, especially the Zanna and Lourdes. The colours pop so nicely on them.
Silhouette-wise, I am living for what Zanna has going on, personally. Maybe overshadowing your main model, Maeve, by just a smidge, but that comment can be applied to any model in this collection because of how detailed every outfit is. Arden looks uber stylish and cool, Harper looks adorable and chic, and Lourdes' outfit just screams fun and fashionable. But, if I were to give a negative comment, it'd be nice to see Maeve, your main model, be in a background setting that shows off that she's the centrepiece of the collection, but that aside, this is one heck of a fashion line.
ThoughtsofaDame — Naomi: My fair Dame, how excited I am to see you back stronger than ever. Knowing you from last cycle, and seeing your work on this one, I already see you as a strong contender from the jump, but I can tell that you've evolved as a designer. I'm giddy with joy seeing you, not only make it to the finale, but dominate the competition while climbing your way to the top, with 2 wins under your belt. Knowing what we know of how you're doing in the making of your collection, it's all the more reason for me to give you the flowers that you deserve. You are amazing, Dame.
I admire that your collection resonates with you. I love the colour choices on every single model. It suits them nicely. That being said, I do find the witch concept to be quite simple, and seeing the looks individually and altogether, comparing it to your fellow competitors, this fashion line leaves a lot to be desired. My main gripe of this is that Naomi, being your main model, doesn't feel like the grand high witch that I expected her to be, because the other models have way more interesting textures and silhouettes going on, compared to Naomi.
I appreciate the thought of her outfit being the combined version of everyone else's outfits, but it didn't hit as hard as I would've liked it to. As for your other models, Lourdes, with that shade of purple and gold, is just exquisite. Speaking of golds, Priya looks like one expensive witch with that colour scheme, and the sihouette is no less. Kimber looks stunning, giving swamp witch. And Jolene looks like she's the only dark lady, coming for Morticia's gig. Don't get me wrong, Naomi looks amazing, but just fell short, given that she's your main model. And for what this serves, this is still a high-tier collection.
Picaru — Pearl: Picaru (Maxie), my darling. When I think of your designs, the words "ethereal", "polished", and "perfection" come to mind. My fellow judges seem to agree with me on that, given that, to my knowledge, you're the first ever designer to bag a 3 in a row win on a cycle. That is one heck of an achievement, and if that doesn't say a statement about your skills, then maybe the fact that you made it to the finale should. Your entries are just drop-dead gorgeous. You deserve every praise, because you always deliver and serve.
Admittedly, I do find the floral concept of your fashion line on the less creative side, but seeing how much the flowers from your walks inspire you, and how much you appreciate the beauty of nature, I am moved. Every single outfit here in your collection devoured and left no crumbs. The colours you chose for every model fit them perfectly. Everyone looks ethereal. I am in love with Cressida with those touches of yellow, looking like the sun goddess that she is. Lourdes looks adorable dancing around in the rain. Imani looks beautiful and graceful. Marina looks like the prettiest fairy that ever lived.
Your main model, Pearl, looks stunning. You successfully fused every main element of the other models' outfits into Pearl's. I do think that her outfit leans toward the bulkier side, especially on the bottom. Maybe there is too much fabric, but I love the silhouette. Very grandiose, very fitting for your main model. Overall, this is quite the collection you presented, Pearl. It's quintessentially you, in a fashion line form. I'm quite pleased with your work.

Designers, Cycle 6 has finally come to an end at long last. Every cycle it seems like the designers just get better and better, and this cycle was no different. Every designer we had this go around gave us some stunning looks, and it was so hard to get to these final three. And then having to judge these final three against one another was almost harder. Ultimately we had to go exclusively off the finale and try not to get emotional as we just went off the numbers as we judged, and I'd like to give a special shout out of thanks to our surprise judge iiiFlames! So now, with one more thank you to all the designers for a fantastic cycle and with gratitude to the final three, the results of the finale of Project Catwalk Cycle 6...
The winner of Project Catwalk Cycle 6 is... Picaru With the collection Ephemeral Pleasures and model Pearl.
Second place goes to... wishflower With the collection colour | artist << the story of identity >> and model Maeve.
Third place goes to... ThoughtsofaDame With the collection The Circle and model Naomi
