Your first post is essential, as it will give us the information we really need at first glance. Your first post should always contain this information:
Character's Name
Species
Flavor (Personality)
Gender
Starting Stage
Brief Description of Appearance or Custom Form
When making your brief description of appearance, please include any information on their appearance, such as traits, markings, accessories, or anything you deem important to your character. Keep in mind if they are picked up from this forum, the colorists will be looking at your thread.
You may format this as you wish, but it must be obvious that the first post contains this information. Keep in mind the rules within the shop! Aside from the first post, you may organize the rest of your thread however you wish.
At the bottom of this post is a quest skeleton for you to use- please copy and paste that exact form into your quest to fill out. This will provide you the basics for everything that you need to begin on your quest. While you may separate the "Personality" and "Strengths/Weaknesses" section from the form, your first post must always contain the top portion of the quest skeleton.
This quest skeleton must be used in all quests. You may separate the top portion for your first post, but your second post must contain the personality and strengths/weaknesses section. If you have any questions please feel free to PM a Staffmember for assistance. You may make edits/changes to the form, but all required information must be filled out before your quest can be approved.

Species: (Normal, Imp, Cherub)
Flavor: (A One-Word Personality)
Gender: (You can choose any gender, however for certing purposes we use Male, Female, or Androgynous)
Starting Stage: (Bowl, Kit or Adult)
Brief Description of Appearance OR Customs Form: (Try to be as descriptive as possible- quests are not meant to be semi-customs! It's okay to have come CC things, but most of the character's design should be decided by you)
Random Selection OK?: Y/S (PLEASE NOTE:: If you only want to go after a specific colorist, it's up to you to pursue them; if they don't take full customs that may prove to be an issue. Allowing a random artist to take your work increases the chances of getting scooped by the Quest Fairy.)
Profile:
Who is this Phox? What are they like? What has their life been like so far?
Strengths: No more than 4, you must describe these in detail!
Faults: No more than 4, try to keep these even with the strengths. You must describe these in detail!
To help customers make questing as painless as possible, we also are going to state what we're looking for when it comes to critiquing, and what our judging will be based on. Below is a condensed list of what we're exactly looking for:
Backstory and personality must work together and be believable. If something traumatic happened, there should be consequences.
Your character's backstory must fit the lore and setting of the shop.
If a staff member points out a mistake in your quest, you must address their concern. Most likely, if you follow the tips above you'll have less trouble with critiquing! Just be mindful of how believable your character is, and how the shop works!
