“Okay, so the clouds look a bit dark right now.” Kian commented as he looked up at the darkening sky, the clouds and static in the air an obvious hint to the storm that was about to unfold. “But it’s not our first rendezvous with such a thing, right?” He had traveled across so many different countries with Eresin over the years that they were both experts at navigating such dangers…at least that was his hope even as the first flash of lightning took over the sky. It did look a bit nastier than usual and they were kind of in the middle of traveling. Probably would have been best to leave yesterday instead of this morning so that we could be closer to home. But it was what it was and Kian could only let out a soft sigh before glancing over at Eresin. They had their belongings packed up on both of their familiars, Akemi and Peco waiting about for the two earthlings to figure out their plan whereas most wild animals had already skittered away by now seeking shelter from the oncoming storm.

“You think?” Eresin chuckled at the obvious observation. So much for getting home early to surprise Tali. He thought to himself as he looked over at the horizon. Yep, that was definitely a storm approaching. He looked at Kian and shrugged lightly, not as bothered by the storm despite the fact that it would slow down their progress. “Guess we can find a cave, right?” Neither Peco or Akemi would want to fly in such a mess nor would Eresin want that either. So finding shelter was it and he just hoped that they could find something before the storm decided that a pair of drenched mages was the best way to start the day.
