Another successful hunt meant Maizah was home for an extended rest. So she decided to spend it with her brother, catching up on his own work as she told her stories of the new hunting lands they discovered.
But those conversations only lasted so long, and now she felt a bit childish.
"Want to play a game, Yonas?"

Yonas blinked at his sister's suggestion, as if to ask what she meant by such a recommendation. Sure they had spent nearly their entire lives together, so children games wasn't abnormal. But they had jobs now, and childish things were of the past.
Yet....he didn't have anything else to do, and so he shrugged, curious to hear more.

"You remember the old games we played with the other younglings? A little truth or dare?" she said with a small smirk, winking at him a moment as she leaned back in their spot.
"Actually...now that I think about it..." She trailed off with a tilt of her head, Yonas didn't often join in those games, and she wondered if he had ever actually played Truth or Dare.

He seepishly shrugged. He didn't really play those games, mostly because the other younglings used it as a trap. Either he would be put in an uncomfortable situation or be forced to speak with what was arguably a difficult stutter.
Narrowing his eyes at his sister, he glanced away.
"I-I don't know, Mai."

Of course he'd be against it, and for a moment she was tempted to just let it go and drop it all. Instead, she leaned a little closer with a small smirk, playful and friendly and one usually saved for those closest to her.
"You sure...could be fun. And it's only just the two of us."

He kept quiet as she leaned into the idea a bit more, wondering if she would push back. Maizah always pushed him to be more than he could be. Something different, something true. He trusted her to this point to have his best interest, but still the uncertainty of the past caused him to hesitate. The stall. To deny.

She noticed he was very much not interested, and shrugged, "Ok, how about you ask me, and I'll do it. Come on, it's so boring today. Have a little fun!"
She grinned at that, offering herself in tribute to have some fun without him being too uncomfortable.

The offer was something worth considering, and he looked curiously back at her. He glanced about the area, not seeing anyone else looking, and shrugged a shoulder in compliance.
It wasn't like she would do something that would make him uncomfortable, and he wasn't the youngling who was bullied for his stutter back in the day.
"T-truth or Dare?"

Her grin grew and she leaned forward as he joined into the game, before she became thoughtful.
"Dare." She finally decided, figuring it was more fun and they were pretty honest with each other anyway. The question was, what would he dare her to do.

He stuttered a bit internally, a rare thing these days, as she quickly answered and challenged him to think up a dare. Taking a moment to consider the options, he thought back to all the silly things the kids would do.
Steal from adults, release a hunting creature, jump into a mud pit...all were options they laughed about after.
But this was a little different, and he considered for a long moment before slowly smirking.
