Briallen was still adjusting to life in Sulburi while working with the treasure hunters when she noticed the first stray perzi. The Alkidike had followed it past the busier markets to the edge of the city where she now paced along the quieter street to try to spot the creature in between the rows of buildings. "Where did you go little one?" Though this time her curiosity was mixed with a bit of frustration because she had witnessed these stray perzi before and they were not the friendliest creatures around. They were quick and good at stealing bites of food, darting away before anyone could catch them...and today Briallen felt even more determined to try to see what she could do before one grabbed her market snack once more. They had already gotten away with a skewer of meat, the treat sacrificed to the desert sands as the perzi scampered away with it, and so now the hunt was truly on as Briallen prowled the street to try to find her target.

[Set after Ahmanet's Trip to Yael -> On her way to the Chibale]
Ahmanet arrived in the desert port city, Sulburi, after the long trip from Yael. Having finished training with her elarian cousins. Ahmanet had been told it was faster to cross through Oba and Juhaur than taking a boat around, and they suggested a hood to keep the sun off her, Ahmanet wasn't sure what to expect she'd only heard of the great desert by word of mouth after all.
It was strange though despite the other climates she had now been to this one felt oddly comfortable at least to her. Arid hot wind, and the dunes in the distance peaking out from behind the unique architecture. It was also extremely busy on the dock side of the port. Ahmanet, having many gazes follow her started looking for a way to avoid the stares though the two Keldari wrapped around her hissing or rattling their tails at anyone who came too close weren't exactly subtle either.
She started toward the edge of the city when she noticed some less crowded side streets. Obviously Aishains didn't get around as much as earthlings, let alone a Vandrea.
As she neared the edge of the street Ahmanet saw an Alkidike prowling around, what a strange sight.
"What are you doing?" she asked still in the alley.

"Hmm?" Briallen found herself momentarily distracted by pure surprise when she spotted a Vandrea who was speaking to her. Out of all things she had not been expecting a cousin to be out here in Sulburi! "Me? Maybe I could ask what you're doing here?" She replied before shaking her head, the small smile on her lips showing amusement rather than judgment. "I suppose it's not my place to question a wandering Vandrea, but you did catch me by surprise. As for me? I'm trying to track down a stray perzi I saw earlier. There's apparently a few in these alleys and I thought it would be a fun challenge to catch one."
Actually now that made her think. Briallen paused as she looked between the alley and the Vandrea, a small grin crossing her lips. "Care for a challenge? It could be fun to try to catch some perzi with a fellow Aishan, I haven't been on any type of hunt in a while." Not that she wanted to harm any perzi, but it would be nice to catch up to some strays and maybe see if she could find one a home. It would be like one of those games that she had played with some earthlings before...truth or dare, right? Just without the truths and more focused on the dare.
