Stuck in a StormSolo or RP Format

Solo word minimum is 750, RP post minimum is 7Spring storms can often appear with out little notice and last for days. They are filled with strong winds and heavy rain, which means one must halt their travel if they are able to even get outside during the downpour. Your character has found themself stuck away from home in an area with others seeking to avoid the storm. Who do they meet? What do they talk about? How do they feel about the storm?

Elsae looked up to the dark gray skies above her. The storm had come on quickly, bright blue disappearing in less than an hour. It wasn’t normal for Valmon, this time of year or otherwise. She had a feeling this was going to be a bad storm.
She ducked her head into a nearby inn, the closest thing to shelter she could find and let her eyes roam over the interior. There was a bar to the far end, plush couches and oversized pillows littering a social area near the windows. It was quaint and felt warm and snug with lanterns lit along a bookshelf lining the walls.
With nothing better to do than to wait it out, Eslae made to occupy an oversized beanbag near the window, looking to see what the skies would bring for them today.

Seth found himself unpleasantly out making deliveries in the humid air that clearly meant a storm was rolling in. He didn't often mind it, but he could tell this one would be a mess, so he would need to rush to drop off all the orders before the sky broke down.
Thankfully, it was as he dropped off the last one that the rumble of thunder began, and he quickly made way to the local inn to wait out the worst of it. Only slightly wet, he shook off his dress as he took note of where he might find a spot.

Eslae heard the door creak open again, and instinctively glanced over the rim of her book—not that she was reading much of it, not with the sky churning like a pot left too long on a burner. Her eyes caught on the figure who entered, a tall earthling with rain-dampened, pale green hair and eyes the color of spring water. He had a calmness to his movements that tugged at her memory.
It clicked a moment later—Sethaeus, the vendor from the summer festivals. He’d sold her that absurdly useful multi-tool, the one that could twist wire, light a lantern, and somehow brew tea if you pressed the catch just right.
She hadn't expected to see him again, and certainly not here. Her lips twitched into the beginning of a smile before she caught herself and looked back at her book, though the words on the page blurred slightly, replaced by the thought: Small world.
