The day was already well underway by the time Zira and Noll had gotten to their grandfather’s clinic. Noll had wanted to buy some things for the trip he was planning on taking and Zira had had the common sense enough to suggest just visiting their grandfather to see if he had anything that could help them out.

It was a good idea and it didn’t take much convincing for Noll to take the trip. He missed his grandfather lately and welcomed the chance to see him again before he took off for the next few months.

Noll knew that his grandfather had taken someone in under his watch, though he was still murky on the details. He wondered what this person must be like and if they would be there at the clinic when they arrived. He shrugged a shoulder more to himself than anything and gave Zira a calm smile. ”After you.” He scooted open the door and waited for his sister to enter first.

While Wren was far from the best at tidying up his enthusiasm for work usually meant that one way or another the job got done. There may have been streaks across the counter or a few tasteful cobwebs left in the corners - natural decoration, he thought - but anytime Wren was corrected he at least tried to do better. The last thing he wanted was to seem ungrateful, even if the sanitary clean of the clinic lacked any sort of spark.

More often than not once the clinic opened Wren's duties tended to take him away from public eye and he'd never had cause to question it. What few patients he'd managed to catch sight of had looked so pale and shaky when they saw him that he figured their condition was severe. Better to leave them to the healer, then, lest they worsen in the night.

So, he'd happily slunk into the shadows, but not before flashing a comforting smile their way.

Ah, but that was the door, wasn't it? Wren cocked his head, turning toward where he near the front of the clinic to be and paused. The old man - should he get him or should he greet them himself? ....Wren grinned. He ghoulishly slunk his way toward the front and peered around the open doorway to the approaching figures. His eyes instantly lit up and his smile only grew. "Oh 'ello, Verosh....Y'er not him." The hair was the same but...this wasn't him. "Who have you brought, Zira?" Wren's spindly fingers clacked against the doorframe like a spider's legs as he leaned further around the doorframe, ever curious.

Well, she supposed the trip was inevitable now. Zira kept a smile on her lips though as she followed Noll to visit their grandfather. They had all been busy as of late, especially since Noll mentioned wanting to travel, and even she hadn't gotten to see their grandfather Mio quite as often as of late. She had only been there a few times since he had taken in Wren and honestly she had actually forgotten that Wren had never met Noll since arriving in Jahaur. Strange iceling as he was, it made sense that her father probably hadn't taken the time to go about a full family introduction with him since leaving Wren in the care of her grandfather. Though he was also busy as of late, constantly getting caught up in hunts that took him away for days with other Aishan warriors before returning home exhausted and even then trying to spend time with them before leaving again.

But it seemed that introductions wouldn't be missed today. Zira let out a soft sigh as she realized it was Wren greeting them, not their grandfather. "I told you I had a brother, right? Wren this is Noll." She gestured towards Noll with a small smile, curious to see what the reactions would be and hoping for the best despite her earlier sigh. "Noll this is Wren, grandfather has taken him in as an...aid of sorts?" She shrugged, not bothering to try to put a real name to the role since even she didn't quite understand it, but it was what her father had wanted since bringing the boy with him to Jahaur. Not that Zira blamed him after finding out more about Wren, the whole situation about being undead still making her worried about what exactly he went through while living on his own in Tale.

"I'm assuming grandfather is busy at the moment, but we came to gather some supplies and say hello. Noll is traveling soon and I'm going with him for a bit too." She explained, glancing about the room before looking back towards Wren. So far so good, it didn't look like the clinic had been destroyed yet so that made her hopeful everything was going okay here. If anything the strongest impression of the room was the bitter smell of medicine which was probably because their grandfather was brewing something at the moment and would greet them later.

Noll followed Zira into the clinic and tried to focus his eyes on the disorganization coming from inside. It wasn't awful... but it wasn't very good either now was it?

Before he could see any changes, he felt the hair on his arms start to stand on ends and Noll's antennae tensed in high alert. A vague feeling of unease settled over him like a thick blanket.

He opened his mouth to speak, to ask Zira what was going on in here, but before he could get a sound out he heard a soft, unnerving voice trickle out from the doorway. Noll couldn't help but feel like it was a scene straight out from one of his own personal nightmares and he shuddered in his spot. If it hadn't been for Zira there with him, talking to whoever this was rather than screaming with him, he would have probably ran from the clinic and not looked back.

Noll rubbed his now sweaty palms on his pants and looked to the man in front of them. "Zira... you didn't mention that grandfather had... help." He didn't quite know what to make of Wren, but if he could just shake the feeling of unease, Noll was sure he was probably a personable kind of guy... maybe.

"Nice to meet you. Did you want to help us... find things?" He took another quick look around the room and figured it was probably best to get help from someone who had been here a while to find whatever it was they could need.
