Standing before the wash basin, Arkadios dipped a well used pot into the warm, bubbly water and started to scrub. That evening he'd offered to cook a meal for his family - his entire family - and even if it had been a challenge getting that much food together it was well worth it. Every member that showed up was another soul that bound them together and it was nice being able to spend some time with those that he didn't normally get to see. His cousins were moving out into the world, starting their careers, their families, and as he started his own he came to value family meals more than ever.
Even if it came with a lot of clean up.
