!! ATTN ALL DESIGNERS & SPECTATORS !!
!! YOUR OPINION IS URGENTLY NEEDED !!
The Judges have been discussing guild politics, and have come to a solution
as to how to make the main competition just a little bit more time effective:
We'd like to issue two double headers into the mix!
Auditions for Project Catwalk Cycle 4 opened up on December 9th, and it
is already March 16th, and we're not even halfway through the contest yet.
In fact, with the way our runtime is playing out at this particular moment,
our competition agenda is stretching all the way into the beginning of July.
Seriously ... There are another FOUR months to go, and it feels overwhelming.
And so we looked through all of our upcoming challenges, and
found two opportunities where we could issue a double challenge.
They are made feasible for two reasons: (1) They are similar in theme,
(2) They're some of the easiest tasks in the entire competition.
How would this affect the competition, you ask?
• The cycle will be shortened by a few precious weeks •
• Judges will post two differing challenges in a single week •
• Designers would be required to make two separate entries •
• There would be both a double winner, and a double elimination •
• Oh, and all the winning Designers would get a prize of $100,000P •
The PC4 crew advocates for this small change, but we care about your
opinions as well. Please share your thoughts via the poll and/or a comment.
And just an FYI: If this decision is approved, the first double hitter would be
tomorrow's challenge. On March 17th, you'd be faced with both challenges 6 & 7.
Then the next one wouldn't be scheduled to happen until approximately mid-May.
