The NES with mario/duck hunt combo, tetris, and Dr. Mario were my first games ever - but those were the "family" games. The first system I ever owned myself was the N64. Loved playing Smash brothers, Mario Kart 64, Mario 64, and the kirby games heart

Handheld: Gameboy Color Console: PS2
I wasn't allowed consoles as a kid cause my mom was convinced they would ruin the TV. But the summer of Grade One I was allowed to get a GBC with Pokemon Yellow.
When I was thirteen my mom finally relented, and she let me get a PS2. My first games for it were Mega Man Anniversary Collection and Mega Man X7. I sucked at both of them. ^^;

The first game console I remember "playing" was the SNES, and it was Yoshi's Island. My dad would play and I would apparently tell him where to go. After that, I used to borrow both of my brothers' Game Boy pocket systems. I would sneak into their room and steal either one and play a little, then put it back without saving sweatdrop Eventually, my dad got me a game boy color and Pokemon Crystal and pokemon yellow to stop me from stealing my brothers' stuff.
