 she laid in bed, stuck in bed more like it. swift left to go to the town to grab a few things for their food for a few days. she wished she could have went with him. it was so boring when he was gone, but she figured he should be back soon, well she hoped. he was taking very good care of her. her eye wasnt swollen closed anymore, but these casts were so annoying. he had been teaching her to read, she was getting better at it, but still needed help before she could read on her own. she really was lonely.

he was on his way home, the bags were semi heavy, he picked out some interesting fruit he knew she would like to try. he also bought some chicken, some steak and some pork chops and he figured he would go fishing later. he also bought her a drink from their favourite drink shop for her. it was watermelon strawberry, he hoped she would like it. it was going to be a surprise for her. he was very happy, he loved her so much that he would do anything for her. ah, home, good. he thought to himself. he landed softly and walked into their den. "I'm home and i brought you a surprise!" he said with a cute smile on his face, he could tell she was glad he was home.

she sat up excited to see him. "a surprise?" She saw a plastic bag with the name of their favourite drink shop and she smiled. "You are the best." she couldnt ask for a better guy, he also was her hero, he fought off a bear to save her life.if that wasnt heroic, she didnt know what would be. "I'm so glad you are home sweetheart!" she wanted to run up to him and give him a big kiss, but she was stuck in bed....

"I got you a drink, its watermelon strawberry, i got myself one too, its blueberry lemonade.| he walked to the bed and gave her the drink. "I also found some interesting fruits to try, i dont remember what they are called though." He smiled at her and kissed her on the cheek. "im gonna go fishing ro catch some fish too, did you want to come?" He winked at her.

i really really really want to go fishing with you!! its been awhile since i practised walking." the dr made the casts extra strong with grips so she could move around. She removed the covers and slowly got off the bed. it hurt, but the dr said it would be fine to walk, just not a long time. she stepped down, then got on all fours. "It doesnt hurt much!" she smiled at her love. She was excited to get outside. "Oh i need help putting on the rubber covers on my casts so the snow doesnt mess them up." she frowned. "Do you mind?"

"Of course! And no I don't mind, you are my angel, i love helping you, i really do." He grabbed the rubber, he carefully rolled the rubber over the whike cast on her back leg, then the front. Hon, you don't need to feel bad, its an honour to help you, i would do anything you wanted to do. stop feeling badly, its my job, a job i love because you are my love."

She teared up. "I feel like an idiot, I should have heard a bear was coming, but stupidly i ran into it.....i scared you, and i caused myself to have a damn limp for the rest of my life...." she picked up the drink, which had a handle on it, so it was easier to grab. she took a sip and oh the taste was soooo yummy! but the yummy drink didnt make the situation better, she knew she was a burden.

He hugged her tight. "it was not your fault, stop worrying about it, my friend chloe put up a barrier to not let bears or anything else dangerous in. so you will be safe!" he felt bad she kept blaming herself after such a great scare. he wanted her to get better, it broke his heart to see her in pain. if anything it was his fault for never warning her of the dangers.
