The camera fades-in to show a new DHW Interviewer.
She is about five foot tall, the booker using an old carny trick to make the wrestlers look taller and larger-than-life on television.
Interviewer: "Please welcome at this time....Cartwright!"
The fans can be heard cheering as Cartwright joins the short interviewer on-screen.
The Englishman is dressed to compete, as he has a tournament match tonight.
Cartwright: "Don't forget to buy the new Dirty Brit t-shirt at the merchandise stands to show your love and support everyone!"
Crowd: "DIRTY BRIT!
DIRTY BRIT!
DIRTY BRIT!"
Interviewer: "We both know who gave you that nickname, one your oldest foes in wrestling, Creeker.
Earlier in the show, the world got to view a video package that explained why Creeker hates you so much.
Would you like to give your response to everything he had to say?"
Cartwright nods his head and turns to look in to the camera.
Cartwright: "Yes I would Miss.
Creeker, it's clear to me that you have a lot of issues to deal with.
We did wage war across the entire wrestling world!
But the real problem you have is that I won that war and you've been angry and bitter about it ever since!"
The crowd begins to oooo as Cartwright tells everyone the truth of the matter.
Cartwright: "It drove you crazy to watch me succeed, winning championships and creating a legendary career for myself.
So crazy in fact, that even your own flesh and blood was forced to abandon you!
Then, your cousin Kody, he went on to have more success without you too!"
The interviewer looks shocked, having no idea that things went this far between the two competitors.
Cartwright: "It's been so many years later and now it has got to the point where you have to justify your hate of me to yourself!
Anything to stop you from looking at yourself in the mirror and admitting that you weren't good enough then and you aren't good enough now!"
Cartwright chuckles to himself as he remembers something that Creeker said.
Cartwright: "You insist that I have been running from you and that I must be working on some sort of evil scheme in the background, as if I am some sort of Marvel supervillain!
You don't believe that I can come to DHW just to prove to myself, to the world and to my fans, that I am deserving of being the new DHW Heavyweight Champion."
Cartwright now has a serious look on his face as he addresses these accusations.
Cartwright: "First of all, it's hard to run from someone that is nowhere to be found!
Who has been running from who, exactly?!
Secondly, I can't believe this lack of trust you have in me, Creeker!
You paint this picture of me always using, abusing and discarding people...but that isn't the whole story is it?!
If I couldn't get the job done by myself, I would never have lasted as long as I have in this business!"
Cartwright points in to the camera.
Cartwright: "The facts are that you KNOW that I was always a huge supporter of The Marines in EEW...but you let me down!
We had our war across the wrestling world and when you lost....you QUIT!
You're mad at me for being a success, when you should be mad at yourself for giving-up!"
Cartwright now looks more relaxed at the camera.
Cartwright: "You want to start a Second World War between us, starting tonight, Creeker?!
You are more than welcome to it.
The first battle begins and I am going to remind you why you quit the first time, when I defeat you and move on to the Finals!"
Cartwright walks off-camera as the scene fades-out.
