Sammy was still at work she had one customer in the recent hours and then they had left and she was back to just sitting around drumming her fingers. She put her earbuds in since she could no longer stand the silence. She might not hear the next customer but she figured she would see them since the counter wasn't that high right? She didn't really think about someone really short coming in that she wouldn't be able to see. She was getting tired of this job even though she was thankful for it. She needed something else at this point in her life.

Saskia was taking a short break from her gaming stream. Today she had over 20k people watching her kick butt in Destiny 2. One of the most memorable moments from Saskia's gaming stream was when she pulled off an incredible clutch play, taking out an entire enemy team single-handedly and securing a victory for her team. The chat exploded with excitement and admiration for her skills, and it became a highlight reel that her viewers would never forget.
She smiled at the thought since it made her excited. Especially whenever her viewers were happy she was happy.
Which was why she was out here taking a break. She hoped to try something that was strawberry and amazing. One of her viewers had recommended this place, so she figured why not try it? As she entered the door she quickly headed towards the counter where she saw a free space. Saskia approached the bakery counter, hoping to get some assistance with her order.
She noticed a staff member behind the counter and asked, "Excuse me, could you please recommend something strawberry-flavored? I'm in the mood for something amazing." She didn't even notice they had some earbuds in.

Sammy couldn't hear the person asking her for stuff so she just tapped her fingers on the counter and waited. It was a little while before Sammy took her earbuds out to take a break from the feeling of the earbuds but she went to get something from the back before she noticed there was a customer in the front. "Oh hey." She said "Welcome, what can I get for you?" She asked in a friendly tone she had no idea that they had already asked for strawberry-type stuff. She really needed a different job.

Saskia didn't mind being patient. She knew that it was probably pretty stressful working in a restraunt. She imagined it was a lot like when her viewers wrote a ton of messsages that she had to respond to after her game. It could definitely be a lot.
As she watched them take their earbuds out, head to the back, and eventually they face her. She figured it had just been a long day for them - after all she didn't mind the peace and quiet. Normally she was the lead in most of her gaming competition teams. To not have to yell go left, head that way, ect. Well it was kind of nice, and this place being empty really helped.
She spoke again with a smile, "Hello! could you please recommend something strawberry-flavored? I'm in the mood for something amazing." She didn't mind repeating herself after all as long as she got something strawberry she'd be happy.

Sammy frowned she wasn't sure what to recommend since strawberries were hard to come by during this season. "Humm I don't know what to recommend except fake strawberry flavoring, winter isn't really strawberry season." She said shrugging. "We have donuts, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and other cafe things. She then had an idea "What about strawberry tea? That is a pleasant flavor." She really was bad at this job and needed to do something else. She sighed and hoped she could at least get through this shift. That was all she could hope for today. Her hair was tied back so it would stay out of her face.
