DHW's social media pages popped up a new post, the first in a very long time. The accounts were mostly inactive, except for the odd nostalgic video posted on times long forgotten.
Clicking to play the video, the DHW fans were greeted with a shadowed face, but a smile still visible. The voice spoke low, and it was one that was almost too recognisable, except that he spoke a little lower than he usually would.
"Dragon's Honor Wrestling..
The name simply bring goosebumps to many fans, a time when the golden era of professional wrestling was here. A moment in time when there was such competition in the air, that there were more companies out there than one count even count on both hands.
Dragon's Honor Wrestling..
A company that one man barely made an impact in, yet still manage to cement his legacy across many others. A wasted opportunity, one that should have provided more gold, more titles, more.. legacy.. to an historic past.
Dragon's Honor Wrestling..
This is the time for a return. A return of historic proportions. For too long has one single company reigned supreme over the others. For too long has there been little to no competition. Now is the time for change."
The smile had turned sinister at this point, as the mouth slowly licked its own lips, preparing for the next part of the speech.
"Cartwright..
It seems as though you're lucky enough to be my first victi- sorry, I mean opponent. We've had history before, and now we have a chance to make a dent in the legacy of this company. A dent so big that they will be talking about us for even more years to come.
Cartwright..
A man riddled with mystery, a businessman with a rather interesting past and present, and a gentleman who has a significant future still to play.
Oblivion awaits, my dear compatriot.
I will take you down to the depths of hell and drag you back up again, just enough so that you may see the light of day and breath the fresh air once more.. before I suffocate you, take the life from you, and send you back to the oblivions that I have awaiting you.
Time is nearly up, my dear friend.
Tick.. tock.. tick.. tock..
A Demon is coming.
Prepare for Hell."
With that last sentence, the sinister grin turned back into a smile, as the camera fizzed and started to crackle. And in the last frame possible, the camera came to focus as the light shifted..
And a familiar eye was seen staring at the camera.
An eye that had social media buzzing, sending the rumour mill crazy for at least that day.
