Because I’m not. As much as I love the holiday, I’m too stressed out to enjoy it like I used to. gonk

I am in fact. heart
Can't wait for the food, good laughs. I could care a less about the presents. It's just a good holiday and plus we get to celebrate Jesus. So there is that.

That’s true. I just feel bad not being able to give presents to people who give me presents. And the foooood; I need to make gingerbread men this year. I always say I’m going to do it and then it never happens.
And you’re right, Jesus is the reason for the season.

P L A T Y P U S chan That’s true. I just feel bad not being able to give presents to people who give me presents. And the foooood; I need to make gingerbread men this year. I always say I’m going to do it and then it never happens. And you’re right, Jesus is the reason for the season. Absolutely, it's completely normal to feel the desire to reciprocate the generosity of others, especially during the holiday season. The intention behind gift-giving is often to express love and appreciation, so your sentiment is heartfelt.
As for making gingerbread men, it sounds like a wonderful tradition! Sometimes, life gets busy, but the joy of the holiday season lies in the moments we share with loved ones. If you manage to make those gingerbread men this year, it'll be a delightful treat for everyone.
And indeed, remembering the true meaning of the season, focusing on the values of love, kindness, and the celebration of the birth of Jesus, can bring a profound sense of joy and fulfillment.
