Are you doing anything for Halloween? Handing candy out, dressing up, or maybe going to a big party.

Nah. I'm just going to buy some candy and eat it while watching scary movies. The same thing I do every Halloween. Lol. What about you?

Nothing too exciting might go for a hike with my dogs and then participate in Zenkai's and GGD's Halloween Events. Other then that, might just chill at home and watch some scary movies. smile

Night Hike with the furries would be fun to. Scary movies, popcorn with lots of butter, and plenty of snacks make for a perfect movie night. I probably will hike during the daytime though - hard to trust anyone walking at night. Most of the parks near me are national parks, long hiking trails and ect.
Have to be careful. Happy Halloween to you and be safe and careful! emotion_yatta

I would never walk at late at night probably - unless I were to be with a group of people but not by myself or my dogs. I'll probably head out during the day and hike with the doggos.
As for the movies Chucky, Halloween franchise, Friday the 13th, Scream and all that you can think of. Of course, I'll also have to watch The Nitemare Before Christmas as I watch it every Halloween and Christmas. 3nodding
How about yourself?

How about yourself? Oh, that's good. Whew.
Oh, I can't do the slasher movies. Or anything that's overly done on the gore aspect. I'm thinking of watching The Conjuring films, they're my favorite. Maybe I'll rewatch The Grudge too, even though I know it's the one movie that will actually give me nightmares. Lol.
You can't go wrong with The Nightmare Before Christmas. That's a classic.

You can't go wrong with The Nightmare Before Christmas. That's a classic. I completely understand your aversion to slasher movies and excessive gore. The Conjuring films are a great choice if you enjoy supernatural and suspenseful horror without too much graphic violence. They definitely have a unique and eerie atmosphere.
As for rewatching The Grudge, it's a testament to its creepiness that it can still give you nightmares even after multiple viewings! Sometimes the scariest movies are the ones that stick with us the most.
And you're absolutely right about The Nightmare Before Christmas. It's a timeless classic that combines elements of both Halloween and Christmas, making it a fantastic choice for the holiday season. Tim Burton's unique blend of dark and whimsical storytelling is always a delight. Enjoy your movie choices, and may they provide just the right amount of spookiness for your taste!
