"...and his opponent, "Roundabout" Lee Marquis."
It wasn't as enthusiastic of a call for the opponent, but the young man name Lee took a step out of the corner and leaped up a few times with a fist in the air, a big smile on his face. It seemed like the things Richard had to say about him in his promotional clip a week prior weren't bothering him one bit, that big ol' smile perhaps his rebellious answer. There were plenty of cheers for the Little Rock native, who despite also being from the south was much more over with the fans than his racially insensitive opponent. The woman in the crowd who was so openly anti-Johnson was very pro-Marquis, but not everyone was. There were plenty of fans yelling some choice language from the deeper parts of the crowd, clearly very much in the camp of Johnson Jr.
Lee began to clap and do a little dance in his spot, his pink and purple tights dazzling as the only thing that could possibly out-do his own over the top personality. The referee would call upon both men to walk to center ring for a handshake, wanting to see them show a little respect and decorum while offering Richard an out if he so choose -- knowing perhaps he wouldn't want to shake hands due to his views on life.
