The implications of her words weren’t lost on Siel. Once they were spoken the hybrid gave the Elidae a long, side eye before turning his eyes back to the ocean with a broader grin. “Maybe if I were to find someone like that to spend my time with, I might come out of retirement.” It wasn’t the conversation he’d expected to have with her, but Siel was finding himself relaxing instead of being riddled with anxiety. There were still worries, of course, and flutters of another kind of anxiety but there wasn’t much he could do about the situation at hand. At the moment they were all cursed by time and until it passed he was stuck.
Afterwards, though…What would he do if it weren’t his? What would he do if it was? He wouldn’t remain in Matori even if it was his child, although he would visit as often as possible. “If I’m not the father I would like to see my sister in Belrea. I’d like to see her family, meet my youngest niece and nephew, maybe see the countryside for a while.”
Even if things ended amicably between he and the child’s mother Siel would still feel to awkward in Matori. He needed a break; some distance would do the bard good.

"Perhaps I can help you with that, if you're truly interested." Replied Quiana with a smirk, her antenna curling with amusement at Siel's reaction to her offer. If anything at least she could be a distraction for a bit while he was dealing with so much. It was a much better option than getting wasted like she had that one night, the following morning with her pounding headache had attested to that being a horrible idea. Quiana settled back in her seat, her body leaning a bit closer to Siel again as she watched the ocean and pondered his words.
"Belrea? I would like to see that country also. I hear you can reach it from Kahi or by airship." She pursed her lips thoughtfully, a finger tapping against her mouth as she considered things. "If we haven't left by the time your potential child situation has resolved then you could find a ship to Kahi then Belrea. Or perhaps I could meet you in Belrea once my family has met and separated. I would like to return to Matori one day, but seeing the world would be nice. I'm not even certain I can settle for staying on the island with the other Elidae now." Quiana chuckled as she looked at Siel mischievously. "It seems I've found my wings and I truly don't want to waste the freedom that I've discovered since leaving home. I would consider some company though, depending on the person and if they can keep a tune."

“Child situation.” He had to laugh at the phrasing. It was a tense little thing, or at least it started out that way, and by the end there was a genuine smile on Siel’s face. The hybrid leaned back against her, knocking his shoulder against Quiana’s arm. “That’s a lot of ‘what if’s’, Quiana, and a lot of ocean to cover without really knowing where.” After taking a deep breath and giving it some thought, Siel nodded. “Two months. Go on about your trip, see your grandmother, spend time with your family and if the child is mine I’ll send a letter, with as much coin as I can to speed it along, to the port. I’ll try to send it to your village, but no promises there.”
He wasn’t even sure how to reach an Aishan village. Surely there were couriers or something like how it operated in Zinris and Chibale? She’d traveled her so there had to be one or two elidae lurking around the port. “If it’s not I’ll meet you there in person. How does that sound?” It was a bit of a stretch and might not give him very much time at all to book passage, but making promises on surprises seemed about as fool hearty as sleeping with seven strangers in a cove the beach. He wasn’t known for making grand choices.

Quiana's whole body relaxed, a bright expression taking over the previously worried one, and she couldn't help the laugh that escaped her own lips. "Fair enough. As much as I enjoy a good game there is quite a bit of area to cover. She admitted before nudging him back. "Alright, but let me make things easier. In two months I should have plenty of time to take care of everything and then we can meet up at the southern port city in Belrea. That way even if letters are missed I'll linger around in a nearby tavern for a few nights...just in case." It would give her plenty of time to explore the strange cities in Belrea that she had heard so much about while she waited on Siel. She just hoped things would work out as planned, it would be a shame to lose track of Siel after all of this. And it would be interesting to see what type of family Siel had in Belrea. It seemed she was not the only one with scattered connections across the world.
"Worse case I'll just have plenty of time to play around town and track you down somehow later." Teased Quiana lightly as she thought about how things could play out. Truly though she did hope that everything aligned in their favor...it would be nice to travel with Siel, that much she knew for certain despite all of the uncertainties that surrounded them both at the moment. "But for now maybe it's just best to enjoy one of my final evenings in Matori together. No harm in a drink or even just a walk along the cove, right?" She asked with a grin towards Siel, hoping to ease his spirits for a bit longer before she had to leave and find her own passage back to Kahi.

"Southern port; I can do that." Even if he couldn't make it Siel could at least get word to her. There would be a few weeks travel scattered in all of that, maybe a month if seas were rough, but it was enough of a stretch that he figured it would be alright.
"I would say you could just look for my siblings while you're there, but you'd be more likely to miss them then find 'em." He snorted. While the triplets resembled one another the rest of his siblings were varied, even among those they'd shared a womb with. "If you get lost go to Zenner and look for Ygraine. She's my older sister; she'll help." It was a toss up as to whether his fathers and siblings would still be around, but Ygraine had made a home there.
"I've had my fill of coves for a while, but a drink? I won't turn that down."
