Strickland would slam chest first on to the mat. Causing him to get back to a kneel, holding his stomach as he was trying to force down the feeling of puke that was trying to make its way out!

Abyss would slowly get to his feet favoring his head as he stumbles backwards into the ropes, still halfway reeling

Strickland began to fight back to his feet, but he was very slow in doing so. Still fighting the nausea that was overcoming him!

Abyss would approach Swerve getting up, grabbing him by his hair.

Swerve would get grabbed by his locks. Getting startled by the pull, Swerve looked to swing his leg back for a pele kick to the dome of Abyss'

Swerve would continue to fight. Getting back to his feet and looking to hit the ropes. Hoping to get a lot of speed and send a flying forearm at Abyss'

Abyss was dazed by regained himself to see Swerve Strickland coming and attempts to catch him into the Black Hole Slam!!

Swerve already threw himself. No matter what, it was too late for him to respond. And just like that, he would get caught and swung around until he would plummet into the mat with massive force.

Strickland would not have the fight to even make an attempt to lift the shoulder up. All air being knocked out of him and the pain being too much to push past at this time!

The bell rings and Abyss theme begins playing. He rolls over and gets to his knees, pushing his hair back and getting to his feet as he was announced as the winner. He doesnt celebrate much at all, as he was in a bad mood from what transpired last week. He exits the ring, knowing now that at No Way Out he didnt have a match, he has to REFEREE the main event between Triple H and Samoa Joe. Nonetheless, the Royal Rumble winner got a much needed win tonight against the debuting Swerve Strickland who gave Abyss plenty of trouble and had him reeling all throughout the match. Abyss backs up the ramp, as CWF goes to commercial.
