Sirius was born ages ago during the golden age of the gods when they were busy getting busy and being awesome. Born to his mother Freya and his father, Sirius was an anomaly at the time as his mother gave him an abundance of attention. She named him after the brightest star in the sky as he was her "little star". She truly loved his father and him, therefore he was given all the attention a growing demigod could want. His powers bloomed early, and he was taught control. Quickly becoming his mother's favorite, he was soon joined by a younger sister, Cassiopeia.

Growing into a shining example of a demigod, he went on many quests and such for the various gods, slaying many monsters, giants, etc. Using armor and weapons that his mother fashioned out of gold, he got quite the reputation for a hero. Then came a war. The biggest at the time, it involved the gods using their children to attack other god's followings to weaken them. Sirius took up his weapons and joined the fight, unfortunately, he'd joined the wrong side of things without realizing it, having been tricked by Loki.

While not a particularly long war all things considered, it was the bloodiest to that date, and was the cause for a great deal of demigod deaths. Sirius having ended quite a few himself. In the final battle, before realizing his folly, he was once again tricked by Loki and not knowing his sister was on the battlefield, delivered her a mortal wound. Distraught, Sirius gave into a blood rage driven by grief and began cutting down indiscriminately in an attempt to end the battle and hopefully find Loki.

After the battle was over, the war was stopped not long after. The gods of the different pantheons came together and made the decision to not create anymore demigods for penalty of death. Bringing together the losing side of the war, most of the demigods were killed. Sirius would have been one of them if not for his uncle Frey, and his mother Freya. While he had killed her daughter and his sister, Sirius was still her child. It was argued that his long service to the gods earned him a little leeway, and that his punishment should be different. Of course it was Loki who came up with the curse portion of things. Let him live on indefinitely and think about what he had done. His line wouldn't continue, and he would watch everyone he loved die.

With an uneasy agreement came to, his mother decided that he should also be put in a form of stasis, to be locked away till she could forgive him, or he was needed once again. Wanting to just be given death, no matter how dishonorable, he was denied and eventually put into stasis to sleep for centuries.

Waking up roughly a hundred years ago, it was his uncle Frey that brought him out of stasis, or a combination of his uncle and his mother going missing and being weakened. Hearing that his mother was missing, Sirius agreed to look for her. Spending the 40 to 50 years searching the globe for his mother, he amassed a certain amount of wealth thanks to his powers, and set up home bases of sorts all around the world. Apparently the world was on the brink of collapse. Doing what he could here and there, eventually the trail on his mother went cold, and she was presumed dead by everyone. Something Sirius didn't truly believe, but there wasn't much he could do.

So instead he decided to try and live a life for awhile. At least until the world truly needed him again, but with his hands so stained, Sirius truly hoped that day wouldn't come soon.
