Clarification: In this thread, Cyrus is called a child as in a child of God. He isn't a child in age at the time of the thread, he's a grown man, a younger-looking grown man.
Cyrus enjoys the beach while meditatively walking, focusing on his latest life reflections, such as whether nudism is okay, considering this a clothing optional beach, and whether it's best for girls to be covered up so much, or whether they should be more like Americans: .
Ultimately, he decides it's okay to dress down, or even to be nude in appropriate places, because God likely loves us as he designed us, and is not ashamed of his creation. God likely finds us beautiful how he made us, at least Cyrus prefers this view. And, while many are sinful and cannot be trusted with public nudism, many certainly are Heavenbound and can be trusted, so perhaps special, beautiful places like this beach are Heavenly gifts from God to his good people.
Cyrus then contemplates what it means to be good, and what it means to be bad, and why it's so important to be he former, and why we are rewarded for it and punished for the latter.
He carries on with many religious thoughts about life.
After a while of this meditation, he starts to also ask in prayer as he meditates for guidance from God about God's own views, opinions, knowledge, and wisdom, so that he may know the truth even if he's not very logical at the moment.
Cyrus begins to hear lots of bird calls, and wonders whether birds pray, or whether they are not intelligent enough to believe in a presence that cannot be seen.
Cyrus decides that after his morning walk, he's going to look into these questions' answers according to humanity's best scientists, and best philosopher within our time on Earth. He decides to later go to the library to see what he can find on these questions.
With the waves licking the sand, and the birds calling out in song, Cyrus decides that God, or perhaps an angel is present with him, and that the world is in harmony with God or the angel at present. This brings a smile to his young face, "Thank you for your presence. Whether you be God or angel, you are as beautiful to me as these surroundings. I hope you have a great day today, Wave-maker."
He hear's a, "Thank you," in his mind, and knows it is too young, and too feminine to be God, so decides she's probably an angel.
She then responds: "Truly, I am a siren. I hope you're okay with that. I am using my gift from God to meditate, practicing moving the waves."
Cyrus: "That's alright. You're still likely as beautiful as the harmony you're creating in the area."
"Thank you. I see you yourself are an Imp. How does that effect your religious views? Do you simply believe that God is all-loving of his creations o matter whether we be human, angel, fish, or even Imp?"
"Yes, I like to think so. I have a very good life, and am a very good person, so I deserve that life, and like to think that with all the bad out there, that this great life is my reward for good behavior."
"Ah, I see. Perhaps God brought us together. You know, the world around is more beautiful when we tend to it. Perhaps you should also contribute? So, that you also are more beautiful, bringing greater happiness to others around you."
"That is great advice! I should garden. I'l ask my parents if it's okay. I'm sure if I garden well, it will increase the happiness of my family and friends, and if in the front yard, also of the neighbors and their guests."
"Yes, that would be very helpful. I've read that beautiful environments full of harmony and peace bring greater joy and emotional balance to us while we live our lives. I've read stressful, chaotic environments can greatly shorten lives."
"Thank you, I'll look into that at the library. That sounds like important information, that our life expectancy depends upon if we're in Heavenly surroundings or Hellish. Perhaps I should also study about influence and how it might cause poor life decisions that shorten lives."
"Yes, influences in the area are apart of it, definitely. Definitely, if you have bad influences, they will shorten your life. Make sure you avoid bad influences, and at your age, leave showing them the light to God, because they are too dangerous for you to be hanging around."
"Thank you. I'll make sure I get to know others to determine whether they are good or bad."
"Going places where less clothes are allowed is an excellent way to see if they are innocent. If they act like perverts, then they are. So, be sure you test people by trying out places like beaches to see if they are perverts, to know if you need to discard them from your life."
"Excellent advice! You are a very wise siren."
"Well, I do try. You should seek wisdom, too."
"Yes, thank you. I will do my best to become wiser. Do you think that perhaps God sometimes speaks through us?"
"That is not necessary for us to give good advice ourselves. God made us in his image. Perhaps that includes with a great potential intellectually."
"Ah, yes. If I were making a people, I would want them to be intelligent. I think it would be bad to make them with ill intentions, such as making them dumb. Definitely, you are probably correct, that God gave us intelligence. We too can be wise and knowledgeable. But, then, I wonder... Why am I not personally more knowledgeable or wise? Perhaps I have not sought enough intellectually, and am failing God's... Expectations. I hope I am not a disappointment."
"You should study hard, and think a lot for yourself, and find that inner wisdom he made you capable of. And, knowledge is easy, that one can simply be from observation, listening, and reading."
"Yes, of course! I will try my best not to continue being a disappointment. But, God is great, for he loves me even so. He gave me this beautiful world to explore, and enjoy. So, obviously, I must not be that bad. But, perhaps i have been disappointing, and I should try harder, so I can bring a parent-like happiness to God."
"I like to view God like an additional parent, too. He's always watching out for us."
"Yes, exactly! He does well at taking care of us."
"But, as you get older, remember to take care of yourself more, so God can turn that care to the next generation after you. You will not be a child forever, and will someday grow up. Try to grow-up as God intended, wise and knowledgeable with independence."
"Certainly. I should make sure I don't... I don't... Just rely on God. I should help him."
"Yes. We all play our own part in the world around us. You contribute, too. Try to keep your contributions pleasant, and helpful. You should not simply receive, you should also give back."
"Definitely. I should return God's gifts back to God, I should be... Equal in his love. I should not simply be given to. Perhaps God is so loving that he doesn't make requests back. Or, perhaps God is all-having and does not need to make requests. Or, perhaps..."
"Perhaps you are too young for God to be interested in requesting caring back for him. Perhaps the role of a young person is simply to enjoy life as it is given, and to work toward the future when they have young persons of their own to take care of. You will need wisdom and knowledge to personally be a good parent when you grow up."
"Definitely. I should think about my future, and not just fixate on the present. The present is so beautiful, I forgot about tomorrow."
"Sometimes, that happens. Sometimes, the present takes our attention, and we simply forget there's more. You are so happy with this moment that you're not even thinking about that there's more moments to come. YOu have a future, and you should mindful of it, and work towards it. When you grow up, you will need skills to provide for your kids. So, make sure you develop skills, make you learn. Do not just go around lost to the beauty."
"Perhaps God was testing me, and those around me about whether or not... Whether his creation is good enough."
"Perhaps whether you get lost in the moment, or whether you strive for a good future s part of good-decision-making needed to go to Heaven. Perhaps it is for the best that you learn to give back to the world around you, do not be only gifted with empty hands. Perhaps being gifted with empty hands is a sin that has not been expressed to the clergy yet. Perhaps we should make sure you give back to God. Gardening would be an excellent way to return God's gifts. It would also be giving back to your parents. Do not get so lost in your contemplation of God that you forget others. There are more people who love than God alone. Reflect upon more people than God. It will be good for your relationships. Deserve your family. And, deserve the love you are given. By being loving back. Perhaps we should think about what love is."
The two then think together about these important life questions, ultimately coming to that it is not loving to only receive from God, that they should give back to God, and to others around them, expressing their love instead of bottling it up. They both agree that expressions of one's love for others are good. Then, they think about what is a good expression, and they decide they both like it when people smile at them, so smiling at loved ones is a good idea. And, they decide talking to loved ones is also good, because they're both happier when they are talking to others, having conversations. So, the two decide they are going to be social instead of antisocial, and instead of remain neutral, for conversations and smiles are great love expressions.
