The hotel bed was white and former EEW Speed star, "Sub-continent Superstar" Summers rolls over waking up at the sound of his room's telephone going off. He was on vacation in Fiji, enjoying the water, enjoying some relaxation, pirating, and scouting some talent. Summers covers his ears with the pillow while the bright sun shines through his room's glass doors and the phone continues to ring. Giving up on staying asleep, the former Speed Tag Champion pulls the covers down and takes a sip of the glass on his bedside table.

PPPFFEEEFFFEEFEEE

"UGHU UGHHH UGHHHH!"

Summers runs to the bathroom and begins to throw up in toilet. A classic staple of Summers. He sounds like he's close to crying as his face turns red and splotchy, only bile making it out his body after the initial flurry of liquid. He washes his mouth out with water, then some mouth wash that he swallows to replace the alcohol that had just left him. The phone is still ringing.

"Eeyugh, what kind of a*****e puts vodka to wake up to." Summers picks up the phone. "Yeah?.. uh huh... This is him... Oh really? Reunion show?.. ... ... You want me to what?! Look, I know I did that thing where I shook Landry's hand but I screwed him over not long after! ... So that's how they see me huh? Aren't they with EWA now? What about that? Has to be a lot of crossover there. I was a huge heel. Killed the NEXT division! ... uh huh.. yeah... okay... ... okay. I'll be right back. Call me again in five." Summers hangs the phone up after hearing about the EEW Reunion Show. Final Stand. Maybe Joey Styles could call this since some people say he couldn't call Backlash.

The man who beat Yukari Clepsydra for the X-Treme Championship for less than a day scratched the back of his head, Ahh, s**t that's a decent payday. I kinda owe them for setting up that territory tour with Landry in main events too.." Summers drags his hand down his face. "Ugghh, yeah I hear there's a lot of belts up there. I might as well throw my name in the hat. Work a little scientific for once."

The phone rings once again and Summers picks it up to give his answer to the EEW contacts. "Yeah, alright. I'm in. Gonna cost ya to do what you're asking though. We can go ahead and start negotiations after I fly in. Go on and schedule the flight for me now to discuss the intricacies of this appearance. First class. I'll need a couple others getting flown in for the show. And my agent to discuss the finer details, but we'll be in touch. Here's the email and number for my contact and tickets.."

Summers gives his agent's information and hung up. He was ready to come back to EEW where he spent the better part of his early career in developmental hell. Even as he rose the ranks in other promotions, it wasn't until the very end of the post-glory cards that he saw the big time there. There was a mission for the former technical wizard to set a greater legacy in the place that always thought he needed to be a little better.
