Hello, everyone. CrystBalfast here of the Mermaid Princess RP Guild!

Here is a PSA about the characters explaining about Match Game 90

This is for those who are unfamiliar with the TV Show that ran from 1990 to 1991 which is more of an Improv Comedy than a game.
This is the Sequel PSA to Match Game Mic Night

Hello there. I'm Katie from the Mermaid Princess RP Guild and this is Mermaid Aqua from the same RP. Katie said to Aqua and the Viewers.

Narrator: Welcome. You're just in time for a Sequel PSA... So its been said before but bears repeating, "Get Ready to Match the Stars!"

= Match Game 90: A Real Proper Introduction
Narrator: Match Game 90 first brought its Daytime at the Improv back to the Airwaves on July 1990 with Ross Shafer as the Residing Host this time around.
The Gameplay remains the same as it did from 1973 to 1982 with some new features and refinements.
That new gameplay feature being called Match Up which added a new twist to an old classic.

When ABC forwarded Match Game 89 as a Pilot Series, only 5 Pilot Episodes were made before the Summer 1990 Premiere.
The Pilot Version had the same scoring system like the 70s Version but with some adjustments.
The First 2 Rounds were worth a Single Point while the PM Version had a 3rd Round worth 2 Points. The player with the most points after 2-3 Rounds wins the game and proceeds to the Super Match.
The Super Match is played in the same way as the Daytime Version from 1973 to 1982. Then the Head to Head Match where the player played for 10x the amount (or 20x if the Star Wheel was Present & landed on a Double Score which were represented by Red Dots on the Panelist's Name). The Narrator said to the characters

= Match Game 90: Gameplay
Narrator: Match Game 90 played out like the 1973 to 1982 Version. This time around, all 6 Panelists Play in the Base Game and each was worth $50.
Between Improv Question Rounds was a Lightning Round called "Match Up".
In Match Up, a series of Audience Match or Super Match Questions between the player & panelist of his of her choosing. The Player picks one of two possible answers via the screen on his or her podium.

The Host reads the options & should the panelist answer correctly, that player scores $50. The player needs to get as many matches as he or she can. There's one catch though, once a panelist plays a Match Up Round, they aren't allowed to play a Second or Third Match Up Lightning Round & the player would need to pick from one of the remaining panelists. So for a Round 1 Match Up, I did a 7 Question Measurement.

After Round 2, there was a Final Match Up where each Match was worth $100. After Measuring the Final Match Up Round 2, I did an 11 Question Measurement.
Other than that, the player with the High Score after 2 Rounds wins the game... in the Daytime Version.

The Nighttime Version of Match Game 90 PM would have 3 Rounds and the Final Match Up would be worth $200. The Narrator said to the characters

Sounds like another Fun Half Hour of Improv Comedy & Punchlines. Katie said to Aqua

= Match Game 90: Endgame
Narrator: The Audience Match & Super Match played the same way. With either $100, $250 & $500 scoring or $200, $300 & $500 scoring.
After that, the Head to Head Match, with or without the Star Wheel is played exactly the same way.

The problem is that Match Game 90 had a short life because ABC Networks aired it during 12 Noon as most Network Television Stations such as CBS, FOX & NBC would air the Local or World News at that time. So it was moved to other stations or placed on Midnight or Post Midnight Hours.
As a result, the show was canceled after 250 Episodes in Summer 1991. In the Series Finale, the Host did mention that it would move to CBS but it never happened. The Narrator said to the characters
