Pumpkin ran into Meanae the Thorn while wandering the forest, and the two team up to harass Sam. All Sam wanted to do was play with her roses and continue her experiments. Thankfully, Sam was quick on her feet and escaped the two Zamphir.

Meanwhile, in Hemlock, two of the Petal brothers are playing Hide and Seek and Maim, when a Maenad interrupts, drawing the attention of all six Petal brothers. Everyone's evening plans have changed to a much more enjoyable activity.
