For those of you who are still around and might know her. We lost a dear member of the IV family yesterday.

Unfortunately Verdelc IV has passed away after battling a rare form of cancer. She now rests in peace and earning her pair of wings in eternal life.

It is a sad day to lose one of our own but life is a journey we all have to walk. Some just get to fly sooner than others.

Rest in peace my friend, I'll never forget what you've done for IV and me.

that's rough on more than one level, i cant remember if i ever got to know them or not but a loss is a loss for all
I've heard of others dying from cancer here on gaia including one of the original devs for gaia and since I've had cancer myself i can tell you its one disease you don't want to get or see someone go through, it really can drain your time and energy helping out. my cousin could tell you that as he helped me out when i was really sick with cancer. my treatment was methotrexate and chemotherapy
in another guild when someone dies there automatically made a vice so that no one can ever demote them even though they cant do any work for the guild anymore. its considered a type of memorial in another guild.
still sad to hear. may they rest forever in eternal peace
