Separate skills and stats. Stats go up with "level" and skills must be "practiced".
Attributes Attributes should be considered your "nature" side. Your character is born with these, and they can only be changed through life altering events or incredible perserverence.
Mental Mean [base stat modifier +1 overall modifier per star, determined by the mean of all "Mental State" stars rounded down.] Strength Dexterity Constitution Intelligence Wisdom Charisma

Safa Animal Tending: Animal Speech (communicate with them, but start growling and grunting in normal speech) Animal Taming (become friends with them, and they’ll flock to you) Animal Husbandry (learn the genetics and how to apply in mods)
Tereza Enchanting: Adv Enchanting (apply ability/skill bonuses to items)
Izar Conjuration: Basics of, years 1-3 (conjure a temporary big buff item)
Note about conjuration: it is difficult to learn and harder to master. The item you get is random, and only lasts temporarily. Sometimes just for a fight, sometimes for a day. The buffs, however, can be very good. Also in the beginning years of learning it, you usually just summon food. It’s typically not until later you start conjuring items.
See Lien for last semester of conjuration- but you REALLY have to persuade him, he doesn’t like people knowing he’s a conjuror- much less better than Izar.
Spoon and Currency Systems Edits by Kodo in this color.
Spoons Spoons are your energy and dictate capability to perform activities. You spend spoons per action or activity (you will know how many you are going to spend) until you are out. They can be earned in three different ways: Passively, In-Character or In Real Life.
Passively is simple: Spoons will naturally recover every day at midnight local time at a starting rate of 10 spoons a day, with a starting maximum of 30 spoons. This rate can go up or down, depending on events and buffs/debuffs.
Spoons can be recovered In-Character by: Getting Acupuncture Attending a session with Doctor Al'Teesh Consume a potion Special Events
Spoons can be recovered In Real Life completing an item from your list. When you add items to your To-Do, assign to each task the number of spoons you believe it will take to perform said task. Once it is completed remove the task or reset it it [if it is a reoccurring task]. However many spoons that task took, you will add to your spoon count.
Reoccurring Tasks can be completed as many times as they are "supposed" to be done. For example: Take Meds (Daily): 1 Spoon/day Take Trash to Curb (Weekly) : 2 Spoons/week Deep Clean Kitchen (Monthly): 10 Spoons/month
One and Done Tasks can only be completed once, but are generally items you will attribute more spoons to. For example: Go to event (Mandatory): 11 spoons Go to event (Voluntary): 6 Spoons Supervise sleepover: 3 Spoons Pickup new curriculum books: 5 Spoons
Keeping a list separating Reoccurring Tasks and One-Timer Tasks will assist in keeping things organized and not stressful to manage. Hide previously completed One and Done Tasks under a spoiler tag, instead of deleting, so that you may look back on your progress at any time.
HOW TO SPEND SPOONS:
One spoon = one action. Actions include, but are not limited to: speaking to an NPC, taking a wander into the wilderness, meditating (gaining a random? skill proficiency), and fighting. (please edit or add more as you guys see fit)
Currency Doubloons are the name of the currency Ladelia uses.
They can be earned many ways: Odd-jobs Part-time jobs Requests NPC Quests Among other things
“Bog of Dreams” - you can’t remember how you got there except through lucid dreams (horticulture - shrooms).
You happen upon this place by random chance. (Moderate chance - 1 in 25)
If you fall in (dex roll), you’ll get a random physical attribute of an amphibian.
There’s rumor of a frog-girl in these parts.
A couple more location ideas (let me know what you’d like and I’ll expound on them)
You land near a thundering waterfall in the Tamba Jungle. A swarm of giant ants moves across the jungle floor.
You come across a small oasis in the Western part of the Desolation of Nidita. A pair of giant scorpions battles over a wounded elven maiden.
You find yourself amidst a verdant jungle. Many trees have been knocked down, as though by a colossal beast, it’s tracks fresh in the mucky earth.
You’ve hiked amidst the towering peaks of the Annelic Steppes A herd of mountain goats wanders among the rocky crags between the steppes.
You’ve found yourself in the sand-blasted ruins of an ancient tomb in the Southern part of the Desolation of Nidita. Colorful tents and wagons surround a nearby oasis.
