(RP) August 8th, 2022: Shami (沙魅)

A platinum-framed shoji, sliding door featuring turkey red music note artwork of Katy Perry's Rise manifests itself in a busy cafeteria's shoji wall, and the song of the music notes, sung by One Voice Children's Choir starts to play like a doorbell:

The doors unlock into instantly slightly opening, which causes smoke to exit the doors, as a second song plays with voices of numerous ranges singing along:

The doors open the rest of the way, revealing a great many of kids of very many ages, which start to walk out into the cafeteria. The kids are wearing their Wiibaru Academy, boy and girl uniforms, some with additional garments, and most having their zanpakutou. Their zanpakutou vary, though many are stowed as one or two knives, daggers, or shortswords.

One of the boys, Shami, on other side of the door has a long, black braid that nearly reaches his ankles, worn over his right shoulder. His face is a light brown heart, though it looks like it misses a widow's peak. His dark brown eyes are narrow to the point of slits, hugged below by high cheekbones, with an Asian nose inbetween. Going back, his ears are pointed. And, going down, he's lanky.
His uniform has a dark, but faded brown, southwestern and Japanese fusion jacket over it with furisode sleeves and a bow-tie. He's armed with a knife and carrying a shamisen. His backpack straps are almost the exact same shade of brown, but slightly darker. There's a kind of incensey lantern thing attached to his backpack with a chain attached to it, it's handle being clipped onto a backpack strap. And, atop his head is a matching, cowboy hat with a pair of golden swimming goggles on it, and with a matching headband sticking out underneath. On his braid, in front of his shoulder, there's a white flower hairclip. The flower is four-petaled.
His coat and hat feature a pattern of waves on his furisode sleeves and on bottom of his hat brim. And, his hat also features a rope hatband with two tassels hanging from it in the front.

A black cat tail sways behind Shami as he heads out into the cafeteria, smiling with his lips parted, two top teeth peaking out.

He gets himself a black, deluxe bento box, then sits half-lotus at an empty, square booth with seating for up to eight, setting his shamisen down next to his seat, and his backpack on the floor by his feet.

Before starting to eat, he looks over the room, seeing if anyone's looking at him to invite over. And, there it is, he finds numerous individuals staring at his shamisen, so he catches their gaze, then beckons them over with right index, one after the other.

When we return to Shami, he takes a bite of breakfast, while a girl is talking to him flirtatiously, "What kind of waifu are you interested in? Princesses?"
Shami answers in English with a strongly Walapai accent, "Let's see... Let me think... I'd like a waifu princess who grouphome parents, or dorm-mothers, dances at mastery levels, teaches dance, poprockstars, and acts. And, since I'm the Shinigami, I want her to have a safer career path so our kids won't ever lose both of us. It's not an attempt to be a disposable male, I simply happen to be the Shinigami one."
She then responds, "Oh, yeah! Yeah, my husbando should probably be the safe career one, too."
Shami: "But, if it doesn't offend you, I'm polyamorous, and so will be my waifu, so if we turn out to be a good match, you could still be one of my girlfriends if you wanted."
She blushes, and giggles, "I never really thought about if I wanted a polyamorous relationship yet. I'm so busy focused on the academy that I usually barely think about dating."
Shami: "If you do like it, don't ever let anyone hold you back."

Shami: "You're not property, and marriage should never be about owning eachother. Marriage should be an expression of true, deep, romantic love. And, if polyamorous, always reserve your husbando position for your favorite tom that picks you at that level back, and put a little strategy into it, like that he has a safe career in case anything ever happens to you at work. Our career is dangerous, so we have to be careful about our kittens' custody when we grow up."

She responds, "Yeah. So, do you plan on going far, or do you plan on multi-careering, too?"
Shami: "I'd love to be a captain, or an officer of some kind of rank. And, I'd love to pair it with Dreamcatching, grouphome parenting, poprockstarring, and acting. I also want to master some dance styles myself. I quite love the idea of going dancing with my waifu, and competing in competitions."
She giggles again, "Yeah, that'd be great. Dancing is quite nice." She then looks to a male friend joining their table, and gestures to Shami politely, "This is Shami. He comes from Walapai tribe of Hualapai Nation. His MK-Ultra front lives close to the headquarters. He's a..." She smiles, "Seven. They're the most attractive in the units."
Shami offers his hand into a shake with the other boy, and they say exactly in sync, "It's a pleasure to meet you."

Shami shows them a dance competition video on his laptop, as the other boy sits down with his bento, "I love belly, shuffle, and salsa the most. Though, all of the Latin are great."

After some conversing about dance, Shami continues: "Going back to my waifu preferences... I know this is going to sound strange, but I prefer my partners to be unshaved of body, because body hair has purposes, such as oil diffusing our musks and pheromones, and such as displaying our ages. So, I highly prefer our body hair intact. I think it's perverted to prefer a cat fully hairless."

Shami listens to the others, eating and drinking some strawberry-milk.
Then, he continues: "I also believe we should have long hair, either gender, when we can comfortably afford it, of our natural color, because our hair displays our health."
A second girl, sitting to his left, further into the booth than him, strokes Shami's braid, pulling it into view of the others over top of the table, showing how long it is, as she smiles with her lips parted.

Shami licks his smiling lips after watching her, then goes back to his meal while listening to their reactions.
After he finishes his meal, Shami picks up his shamisen onto his lap, and makes up a song by playing the strings in a semi-pattern that seems logical to him, featuring a medley he often does on keyboards, pianos, and pipe-organs.

He then tells the others as he stands up, "Excuse me, I need to clean up, then look for somewhere with great acoustics to practice. In case, any of us don't meet again today, have a great day everyone."

Shami finds it, a place with great acoustics at the Academy, it's an empty dojo that reads on sign that students are welcome here, and that sounds great when closing the many doors.
So, he sets his smartphone alarm clock to 10 minutes before class, then sets it back in his backpack.
Then, he practices playing his shamisen, experimenting with it's sounds, and playing however he feels like, like when he sings whatever notes he feels like.

Kids start entering, and sparring around him, making him occasionally have to dodge as he plays.

Shami's alarm clock rings on his smartphone, so he gets it out, and turns it off..
He puts his backpack back on, his phone re-stored, and heads away with his shamisen to his first class, careful not to get himself or his shamisen hit on the way through the sparring matches.
