This area is for people who are questing for new characters! These characters can be anything you'd like! At present, you're allowed to quest pets that we have created and released templates for... you are also allowed to quest for Gods or Goddesses, which have unique made art.

You may also quest for pets with Blessing/Curses -- so if you want a pet that comes with magic of some variety, here's the place to live your dreams!

Every now and then, when the mood strikes, our colorists might summon the Quest Fairy and a little magic might happen. Your quest might very well be granted! Everyone from Staff to Newbies may begin questing characters, and kicking around ideas. The skies the limit here! Colorists might CC someone, or roll from a list in private.

When the Quest is picked up, a colorist will quote you in the thread, confirming their pick-up. They should drop the pet in the quest thread as well as the main thread, so we're away it's been delivered. We will then archive the Quest Threads or change the heading to [Granted].

If you want items or magic, you'll need to earn that through events or XP/RP points. If you want breedings, you'll need to win them in breeding raffles or events. However, you may custom family, or additional, singular offspring -- provided you have proper breeding permissions in place!

These pets are not 100% full-customs, but are semi-customs. A colorist will do their best to grant you what you wish, but again, the final design is fully up to the colorist.

The Rules

Anyone may create quests, including Staff
There is no limit on how many you can win or earn from the Quest Fairy.
These are Semi-Customs, so there is still room for artist-interpretation.
You may ask for Blessing/Curses, within reason. We won't edit the pet so crazily that they no longer look like the templates.
Shop Edit Restrictions apply
No one is guaranteed to have their quest granted.
You may enter a Quest but then also continue to try for the pet in other events. Should you win, remember to remove the Quest or change it up, lest you risk getting two pets of similar design!
You may remove Quests at any point -- just simply ask a staffer to archive it, change the quest completely to something else, or if you really want it deleted, ask staff to delete it. Deletion is permanent.
No payment is necessary though you are allowed to tip a colorist who picks up your work.
Pets must be only released templates =or= Gods/Goddess. Gods & Goddesses can only be picked up by those with God/Goddess Art Approval.
Don't forget to follow the proper Subject Format! [Quest] Name, Type! Please note, the Name is the Character name. If you don't have a name for the pet yet, just put ???, and then the type of pet you want!
Your pet could be picked up by any of our colorists! You are allowed to continue questing for the same quest or pet if you want, but you'll need to create a new form each time.
Pets listed here must be new pets. If you want re-designs or items and traits edited to pre-existing characters, you'll need to earn them through RP or XP.
Please remember that some edits are not allowed, such as turning hooves into paws, or trying to transform bases into other creatures. The templates should remain the same and relatively untouched -- but you can add things to it, such as horns or an alternate tail type, magic, wings, scales, etc. etc.
There is no reservation of God and Goddess domains! Multiple domains of the same time are allowed. So just because one person is questing a domain, doesn't mean others can't quest the same domain, or something similar. The shop itself may have future domained gods to give out that could be the same type as what you desire, or the domain could show up in a breeding! This is a magical world, and the gods either share duties and share those who worship them, or they have their own people and cultures that worship them. It's not a problem since the design, the magic, and the character will be unique!

References are encouraged, especially for transfers! Please note, as these are semi-customs, a pet might not be designed with everything you want. References here will be used solely for colors on the final pet! This could be body, hair color, item color, etc. Images only!

[b]Marking Style References:[/b] Anything here will be used to inspire specific markings -- remember, the color refs above could be used for them! These are marking style refs only -- their colors will likely be inspired by the Color Refs listed above. Images only!

[b]Hairstyle References:[/b] Want some sort of specific hair-style? Post it here! This could go for mane or tail (if applicable) -- however, especially for intricate styles, the end result could and will likely vary. Images only!

[b]Hopeful List:[/b]
Please include your top six (6) edits you want to see on the pet! You may not get them all, but at least one or two should show up on the final pet based on the colorists design!

This can be anything from "longer fetlocks" to "please make the hair a specific style (including a reff)" or "please include this item/trait/marking" etc. The colorist could give you more, or less than what's on this list, but at minimum, they'll know what you want. This can also include things you do NOT want on the final pet, "Do not include the crown!" or "Do not use neons!" or something.

You do not need to fill out all six, or any, if you want a true CC pet.
