I enjoyed it because I love blood splatter. However,I didn't care for the misogyny and sexual violence. The goblins don't have women? They violate human women because? It's not as if they needed human women to reproduce - or there would be all these demi-humans (goblin/human mix). It was repeated and didn't help develop the plot or help audiences understand goblins any better. Also, they never violated male humans, which is weird. Sexual violence could've been equal opportunity, but that disrupts the macho narrative...

i never finished the anime, but from what i remember the SA content was only in the first episode. otherwise it was a pretty solid anime.

it was pretty good, but it's dark and gritty. i think it's pretty similar to berserk in some ways, if you've ever watched/read that.

That is probably why it was a 12 episode anime to see if people approve or disagree and somehow they going to make another season by next year. XD But besides all that I will watch it. XD
I swore I saw more than one season? Maybe there was a film? I wanted to understand more about the goblins, and we learn more about their villainy but not about their society. They seem to have families / kinship, so what the kidnappings are about and why exclusively girls, it’s still unclear. Sexual violence is also not central to the plot, and the story would’ve been fine without it.

it did had a film. Also I just hope we get more backstory than sexual violence.
