The proctor in charge of this specific room had been sitting around for a while waiting for the next group of competitors. Someone had given one of the other rooms the next few hours off. Sounded like there were multiple Two verses Two challenges going on? Lucky proctors in the empty rooms. With how long this was taking, maybe he was one of the empty rooms as well? One could only hope, but this male sitting on an upper balcony overlooking the arena room was certain that he couldn't remain lucky for forever.

Achana and Zundae [Task]
Achana did not know what to think, being teamed up with something as grotesque as Zundae. Such a miscreant would be demoted to the lowest rungs of Leaf society when she became Hokage. However, she would tolerate this team-up for the soul purpose of destroying the enemy. Though, she had no clue who had arranged this or why. Maybe it was to test her on a different level, or maybe it was a matchup between the four top students and the ruse of teamwork would be used to determine who would face each other? It was wise to consider everything in contingency for any potential eventuality. This was the way her paranoid brain operated, especially considering the corrupted DNA of the Sonozaki family ticking like a timebomb beneath the surface of her subconscious. The dark demon lurking beneath the layers of her thoughts that would eventually surface and cause her to become the greatest double-edged sword the Leaf could ever hope for.
Zundae arrived at the same time as Achana, offering a playful bow of her head to the Uchiha before looking up and smiling wide with a similar sense of insanity. Though, her partner seemed reserved and composed, Zundae could feel the rage beneath the skin of her teammate. It was delightful, so much so that she could not wait to experience pain in this fight. To fuel off of the anger and the hatred of not just one opponent, but two and a resentful team member. "Let's make this fun~!", she offered over to her Uchiha ally, who only seemed to snub her. She pretended not to notice and grinned toothily as she waited for the opposition to show itself.
The arena floods with a thick and heavy mist as the two other genin and the proctor, who sat up above, awaiting the other team to arrival. The mist so thick it blocked the sight around and into the arena, so that at least the two young women would not be able to see that something, or someone, moved silently through them. Stealth and cunning were how one faced great adversaries, or disadvantages, and dealing with these two were going to be a challenge. Oyu moved silently as the mist provided the moisture in the air to empower her Suiton release. The agile predator reaching out before encapsulating the Uchiha, Achana, with in a large bubble of water. Thus far her plan should have been pulled off perfectly as she keeps herself enshrouded in the mist like the perfect predator.

Royce entered the arena, somewhat nervous, but not showing it on his face. His countenance was a statue of grim determination, giving no hint as to the seductive voice that whispered in his ear, even now.
”This will be simple. See? Your companion is already going to work. All you have to do is handle that poor little girl. Easy as pie.” The voice was like velvet and honey, hiding the taste of poison. Seir was kinder than most of his kind, but he was still nefarious at the best of times.
Royce watched as the arena filled with mist, and his companion attempted to trap one of the enemies in a sort of water bubble. It seemed his opponent had been chosen for him. As he turned, he began to chant in a language unheard in this place, his hands flowing and igniting as he flung a ball of fire at the enemy shinobi.
He did not come here to lose. With the help of Seir, his infernal companion, he would prevail.

Achana was prepared for pretty much any situation, but this was one of those tricky fights were finesse and targeting of the weak link in the chain were going to be the way to victory. It was at the moment that Oyu began to move that the Uchiha reflexively activated her Sharingan, and crossed her fingers before her to create Shadow Clones, two of them, turning her into her own three-person cell. The stealthy maneuvering of her opponent was not without merit, but it lacked the intelligence of how to fight somebody with shadow clones in their arsenal. Though, on the flip side, she had expected somebody a little more direct in their approach to fighting. "Hnnn... So annoying, but I guess it can't be helped.", she grumbled to herself.
Achana's other Shadow Clone began to operate as she directed it, targetting Royce and attempting to lock him down in the shackles of Genjutsu so that she could either break his mind, lure Oyu into a more direct confrontation, or both. She did not care what Task had planned; her team-mate was simply another threat she would attempt to eliminate given enough time. The genjutsu would begin to take root as a tree sprouting up around Royce, locking him in place if he could not resist while the Shadow Clone would appear out of the tree, preparing to stab him with a kunai, or so it appeared.
Task, on the other hand, simply laughed as Royce's flames impacted with her body and she simply absorbed them, adding their power to her own as she sped up her movements and aimed a kick and punch in his direction. It was her target after all, and she wanted to feel his chakra drain out of him first-hand if she could. "You tried hard to get to this point, all for nothing.", she taunted Royce, unaware that his mind was coming under attack from her partner.
The mist slowly disperses in the area as the image of the shark girl comes back into sight for Achana and Zundae once again. She walks between the pair of them as she simply points to her ally. "Release him..." Oyu states as she begins to walk to the entrance of the area. Her cold eyes looking up to the proctor, "Yo! I am going to withdraw from this match... up to the flame boy if he wants the do the same." Without a further word, the Hoshigaki girl gave a wave to either of her former opponents before silently takes her leave back to the other examinees once more.
Royce watched as his attack did nothing and then a tree captured him, suspending him in the air. As soon as the fight had begun, he was trapped and his ally was leaving.
”Ok, ok. Can you let me down now? I concede. That was my one trick.”
Royce chuckled, hanging upside down, scratching his head.
