Did not realize how lucky that she was till after the written exam was done. Two in her group had failed... one due to failure to report in, and another was caught blatantly cheating. She had been in the room when one came in, held the other at obvious gunpoint and copied his answers. Luckily, she was not the target to that, or she would have wordlessly locked the man into a genjutsu. A soft shrug of her shoulders as she found most of her group paired off, given they had a choice for first picks... yet still... some from other groups were jumping the gun and pairing off as well. One being the crimson haired shinobi that had joined in defending Katana. Shaking her head once as heads over to Haydn and gives him a bow, "Care to be my first opponent?" A soft smile on her face as her violet eyes still yet danced over the people in the room. Sasaki had paired up with the crimson lady in their group, while Tia was speaking to a gentleman in hers.
Upon accepting the invite, the young Sanada girl would enter one of the arenas that were still rather open for the exams. She moved to the other end of the field, before giving her opponent a polite bow. Afterwards, her chakra surged and flowed over and through her body from her enhancement aura... though what really unsettled her was the sure boost of power she was getting from the bracelets given out by the proctors. Apparently, he choice of opponent was a way more seasoned opponent than herself.

The written test did not seem too difficult, so shifting phases from writing into combat was expected but not something he had expected to need to handle too soon. As a curious female confronted him with a challenge, he did not even hesitate to accept it. Casually drawing a new cigarette from somewhere on his person and lighting it with a lighter he produced from the insides of his coat, Hadyn casually followed the female as she led the two of them to one of the arenas that had been prepared for these exams. "Hopefully the acquired handicap is sufficient for you then.." He says simply as he adjusts the new bracelet that was snapped on just behind one of the ones he wore upon his wrist already. They may as well get on with this entire thing, the faster that it is over with the more likely he could actually take a little bit of time to relax and perhaps watch some of the other fights that were going on around the area. He draws a slow drag of the cigarette between his lips before removing it and breathing out the smoke before him. Placing it in his mouth once again, he forms a single hand seal and appears to vanish in a swirl of wind and smoke. His form appearing directly beside Raelyn as smoke began to envelope his form from the two bracelets on his wrists. His hands becoming completely enshrouded in smoke as they take on a more claw like appearance and he thrusts his first attack directly for her side and chest with a slash like strike of his smoke covered hands to which had quickly taken on a deep red color as he attacked. The fully mastered Bloody Murder Style already rearing it's destructive head as he makes his initial attack without any sort of hesitation involved. Combining this with the power of his specialized Smoke Gauntlets he had made custom from Hidden Katana, his attack was certainly a more dangerous then a normal attack would be with all things considered. If Hadyn was lucky, his opponent would be forced to deal with the initial attack without a real ability to counter attack.

Adjusted her left arm and flexed her fingers at the mention of the adjusted handicap that she received from that bracelet given by the proctors. Her indigo gaze returns to the male from Hidden Sound, "I think it will do... least if I fail it is due to my ability and not the power gap between us." Her voice was calm and soft as she spoke to him. Her hand falling to the hilt of the sword on her hip, as she watched him sort himself out and smoke. Though she didn't expect the instant movement as he vanished in a gust of wind and smoke, way so than what a typical cigarette would generate in this case. A smirk crossing her face as one quick blink reveals her Sharingan.
Nor was she able to fully keep up with his movements, only getting a quick glimpse of Haydn as his hand strikes across her chest and side. The force of the blow is actually enough to lifting her from her feet and sending her tumbling a few feet from the man. The heat from this odd fire was intense... a feeling of burning searing into her flesh to the point that the young Uchiha questioned if her clothes were still intact or also burning/burned from where the hit landed. A quick glance down conformed that the hit had seared her clothes at the hit... though luckily the tumbling put the flames out but didn't stop the pain from rocketing through her body. Raelyn's body still laid on the ground where it came to rest with the smell of seared flesh and silk filling the air from around her. Laid motionless with only the most ragged of breathing to show signs of life still within her. The proctor over the fight appearing between the teen girl and the smoking male. "Match goes to Yakushi Haydn!" He throws his arms out as if to block Haydn if the male tried to come over to the downed girl. The medical ninja team coming in quickly after the announcement of the winner to collect Raelyn from the ground. The young Sanada's clothes burned through from the where the Sound ninja's hit landed. Giving those watching the chance to catch a glimpse of the slightly seared flesh of the young girl, who was lucky the hit had sent her rolling across the ground to extinguish the smokey red flames before they did anymore damage.
