Born somewhere in northern Europe, much of Ghent's past has been lost to history. He's been tracked throughout the ages all over the world, usually in the company of very famous people, Many of them Kings and leaders of various countries. Always in the shadows and advising these people, Ghent was often ignored and called mad when he offered his cryptic wisdom and sage advice.
There are rumors that that he was cursed by a vengeful goddess or god, that he made deals with demons and spirits or that he was in fact a god himself. All of them merely speculation, what is known for sure is that he is an immensely powerful sorcerer and warrior, having a history of being involved is some of the deadliest battles and wars in human history.
