He pushed the pallet in front of him over to join the others that had been marked for a single buyer. He knew that they were supposed to come pick it up soon and he wanted to make sure they didn't need to wait any longer than truly needed. Usually the quicker they got their wares and left the docks the happier they were. Which was why his captain had so many requests for cargo space on his ship.
Gael made sure to have everything in order. The cargo was under his watch. He answered to the first mate and captain only. The three of them ran the ship and its crew with the top level of care and expectations. Which led to such a good reputation.
When he finally got the box in place he looked it over then checked the logs to make sure he hadn't missed anything.

She hummed as she walked along the docks. She had been directed to the ship that she'd needed to go to. Her husband had ordered some materials for work and she'd offered to pick them up so he wouldn't have to waste time traveling. It also gave her an excuse to bother her brother and see her mother.
Thea also brought her twins along with her, though she'd left them with their uncle while she went for the pick up. She'd told them she wouldn't need them until after since the ship crew would be loading everything.
When she noticed the ship in question she smiled politely. "Hello~" She sang out in greeting. "I'm here to pick up a shipment."

He lifted his head up when he heard the chirped out greeting. Mostly because one didn't hear a woman's voice at the docks very often. Or at least not like that. His first thought was that she was lost but then he heard her say she was there to pick up a shipment. The Matorian then thought she must be someone's assistant or something. But he wouldn't judge a book by it's cover.
He looked down at the log he held in his hand before he spoke. "Sure. I can help. What's the name for the shipment?" If he knew that then he'd be able to be of more help to her.

When a large man by some boxes spoke up she focused on him and smiled even more. At least he was willing to help. So when he asked for a name she took a few steps in his direction. "Right. It should be Rydandaroch. I'm his wife, Theanduri." Usually when either of the two made orders for something they made sure to include their spouse's name as available for pick up in case they were too busy. It made things that much more easier. Though Thea did make exceptions for when she was doing things for work. She kept Rydan's name out of that.
"It should be a shipment of ingots. Four boxes. I have a cart for when they are ready to be loaded." It also helped when one knew what they were picking up and the amount.

He nodded his head as he heard the woman speak. The name was easy enough to find since it stood out so much. Wasn't exactly a common one in this area. He also nodded at seeing her name next to it. "Right. Looks like I have that shipment right here." He pointed at the pallet he'd just moved with the log in his hand and smiled. He knew he had moved those boxes out for a reason.
"Go ahead and get your cart and I'll get the crew to help load it up." He didn't think the lady was going to lift those heavy things. All of them weight easily three times her weight.

She grinned from ear to ear when she heard that the shipment she was meant to pick up was actually already ready to go. "Perfect!" She clapped her hands together and then turned to head back in the direction she'd came. "I'll go get my cart and be right back~!" She called over her shoulder to him.
Thea was pleased that she wouldn't be wasting any time at the docks. It meant she wouldn't be bored and that she could go get her kids afterward so that they could get the boxes home to their dad.

He watched as she turned to walk back and nodded when she called over that she was going to get her cart. He only kept his eye on her for another minute or two before he turned to call for some of his crew members. "Boys! We got work. Let's load these up." There were several calls of confirmation back and Gael moved over so that he could set the log down in a spot he wouldn't lose it.
With that done he made sure to grab the ropes he'd need to secure the boxes down for the lady. He figured she might not have thought to bring them so having them on hand would be easier.

She made quick work of going and fetching her cart. Of course it had been one she'd rented when she got to the city since she didn't want to have to bring it all the way from Matori. The beast that pulled it, however, belonged to her son. So she trusted it. "Come on Apollis." She motioned with her hand for the beast to follow her and was pleased to see it did so.
By the time she made it back she noticed that the ship crew was waiting for her so she smiled. "Thank you for the help, I appreciate it."

As the lady came back with her cart he nodded to the men of his crew and they moved to pick up the first box. "Not a problem." Gael waited until the first box was on the cart before he turned back to the woman to ask a question. "Did you have rope to secure the load down?" He held up the spare rope he'd grabbed. "If not I have some."

She heard the question directed to her and turned to look at Gael again. When she thought about it she looked at the cart with a thoughtful look before slowly shaking her head. "I don't.. Oh. Well that's perfect." She grinned when she heard him say he had some. Turning her smile once more to him she chuckled. "I knew I forgot something." It wasn't every day she went to pick up shipments so she could be forgiven the slip a time or two.

"Most people forget the rope. It's alright." And he wasn't lieing. Most people didn't think about what they were going to use to tie down their load so he usually made sure to have some on hand and include it in the fee.
He waited for the crew to do their work before he handed over the rope to one of the men and told him to make sure that things were secured down.

She was very thankful that at least someone thought of these things. Thea watched as the men finished loading things up and was about to step up for the rope when Gael handed it off to someone else. She grinned. "Thanks. Saves me from having to make sure I tie it right." She chuckled a bit.
When she looked back at Gael she took a second to reach for her pouch. "How much do I owe? Rydan had told her she'd have to pay the second half of the fee when she went to pick it up.
