Daisicle Miriam made the trek to Partayzia the next time she had a couple days off in a row. She arrived in the late afternoon and, not sure if she'd find Asher at the docks or at the pub, decided to head to the pub and wait. She got a table in the corner where she had a view of the door. She ordered herself a drink and tried to relax, but the anticipation of seeing Asher made it difficult. She crossed and recrossed her legs restlessly. Menelie For his part, Asher had actually had a client today - a group of three men of angel decent he'd taken for a fishing trip. Their catch had just been cleaned and passed over to them, and he'd gone and washed himself. The pub owner complained he scared away the patrons cause of the smell if he didn't. Oh well.
His hair was slightly slicked back on account of being damp as he walked in, and it didn't take long at to recognize a certain cute beaut situated at the bar. He flashed her an award-winning smile and offered a wave before walking over.
"Hey there sweet cheeks, always a treat seeing you" and your sweet cheeks.
Yeah boi he was getting some tonight. Daisicle Miriam snorted a little laugh at the greeting, but her cheeks flushed all the same. "Good evening," she responded. "Always a treat seeing you. I was hoping you were free this evening." She took a sip of her drink. "I've been, mm...hungry lately." Her eyes twinkled and she smiled. "I mean, the actual story is kind of embarrassing, but I'll tell it if you want to hear it." Menelie "Puppy girl, you know my evenings are always free for you." He winked before raising a hand and getting the worker's attention. "Yeah, I'll get two more of whatever she's drinking, but make em strong, yeah?" He glanced over at her. "You eat yet?"

Menelie Miriam's expression changed to a dreamy smile and a little giggle escaped. His response stirred her heart and she felt butterflies in her stomach. "Mm-mm," she answered him with a little head shake. "D'you want to split something?" Honestly, though, she would do whatever he asked. Daisicle Asher nodded before looking back at the worker. "Alrighty then, we'll take a plate of carpaccio, some oysters on the half shell, and let's get some shrimp, fried, with two bowls of hot rice." After a look, he shrugged. "I know you got some in recently." That should be plenty - he knew her appetite could be extensive.
Taking the seat next to her once the worker left, he leaned in. "Okay, story time - let's hear it." Menelie Miriam's stomach rumbled quietly as he ordered food. She couldn't wait for what was sure to be a delicious meal. It was enough to distract her, temporarily, from other feelings she was feeling.
"It's kind of funny in retrospect," began Miriam. "A guy showed up in Koehaira a while ago. I saw him while I was doing my rounds, right? And a cute guy in Koehaira is remarkable enough, but he had ears and a tail like me! So naturally I was interested. I caught his attention and started a bit of a chase." She blushed and took a drink of her drink. It sounded very silly now. "He chased after me so I thought he was interested, and I was all excited, y'know? So I let him chase me halfway across town and then 'accidentally' wound up at a dead end. Like 'oh no you caught me'. And then it turned out he just wanted directions, basically. He wanted to know where to buy wine for his girlfriend. " She groaned and raked her fingertips down over her face. "Guardians I felt like such an idiot." Daisicle Asher listened to Miriam's story as she told it, but ended up laughing by the end. "Oh girl, you fell for a pup already on another's leash. That's hilarious. He ever catch on?" He accepted the pair of drinks and placed one in front of each of them, then took a sip.

Menelie "Thank you," said Miriam, accepting the drink. She took a sip and her eyes got big. "Woo," she said appreciatively.
"That was the worst thing, he was totally clueless. I had to spell it out for him. Which, good for his girlfriend I guess, but I definitely wanted to just fade into the friggin wall. A frustrating day for everyone involved," she concluded, folding her arms over her chest, blushing hotly. Daisicle Yeah, tasted like having friendly connections was never a bad thing.
Asher nodded sympathetically with Miriam's musings. "So that frustration is what brought you here today? Well, guess I'm the better for it." He offered her a reassuring pat on the shoulder (or at least he hoped it was) and then smiled smugly. "His loss. Don't worry about that nobody, I'll have you forgetting about him soon enough. Sooner even if you don't mind if we switch this to a 'to-go' order. Have some snacks to go with the forgetting." Menelie Miriam had been about to respond with a playful comeback, but his words had coiled themselves around her insides and it was like a switch had flipped in her mind. She giggled breathily and nodded. Her tail swished beneath her in anticipation. Daisicle Oh how he loved an honest partner. With another sip, he raised his arm and called their server and, after getting quite the dramatic side-eye and groan (apparently the food had been just about to come out), their change was made.
"Better finish these up quick - I'll keep the liquor flowing back at my place." He took a heavy sip and licked his lips.
He has a feeling he'd be licking something quite a bit sweeter soon.

Menelie Miriam took a deep sip of her drink, nearly finishing it, then swallowed and did it again. "Can't wait," she giggled. She was beginning to feel very pleasant from the drinks, but also quite warm. So, as soon as Asher was ready, she followed him out the door and made a soft "ahh~" noise as the cool marine air hit her skin.
It didn't do much to cool her off, though. Her tail swished restlessly as she walked beside him. She tucked one arm into his--a sweet gesture, perhaps, given her mood, but it helping keep her appetite satisfied long enough so she didn't haul him down to a darkened alley. Which she had thought about doing. Well, more accurately she had thought about him doing it to her, but same difference. Daisicle Asher finished his drink with a single, dramatic flourish and, as if on cue, their snackies were ready to go. He glanced over as she made a noise, thinking he was gonna have her making quite a few more soon enough.
Soon, soon... Very soon...
When they did arrive at his house, he very calmly closed the door behind them and set their food on the closest surface before turning to pull her into him and into a deep kiss while backing her against the wall. When he pulled back, he licked his lips and smirked. "How 'bout you tell me what you want babe?" Menelie Miriam made a soft gasp and then a throaty laugh, bordering on a growl. ******** finally.
She leaned up and murmured her answer into his ear.
