Oh, Tama.

Tama, sweetie, I’m so sorry for my dumbass b***h over here………because looking at Tama’s profile and some of his past RPs, I feel like this might be a situation with very little room for middle ground?

Like, I can’t tell if they’re going to love each other (shared interest in magical girl stories! Reiki does want to take this seriously and be a better magical girl! And no matter what else you can rightfully say about him, he is generally trying his best!) or hate each other (Reiki is a human disaster on a good day, he will definitely be wary at first with a cat who is Not Soyala-hime because he’s so used to cats hating him that he’s preemptively defensive unless they jump on him and start loving him like she did in his Awakening thread, and he usually resorts to snarking and unnecessarily dramatic theater kid nonsense when he feels threatened…or stressed……or anxious………or like someone is trying to make him actually deal with his problems and he doesn’t wanna…………let’s just say that I wouldn’t blame Tama for having a hard time believing that Murikabushi is taking things seriously because one of his default defense mechanisms is easy to read as him NOT doing that)—but I kinda feel like the chances for neutral feelings are slim?

I’m also just sorry for Murikabushi as a general rule, though, because he’s professionally A Lot. XD

THAT BEING SAID, I’d love to see which way things turn out with throwing Tama and Murikabushi together (especially when he’ll probably have all of his growth reqs for super stage as soon as I finish a StarFest solo, but……he’s a late-bloomer, none of the DMS late-bloomers have actually stabilized their starseeds yet afaik, and even if Tama ends up hating him, he could really use an assessment of what’s up with his starseed from a cat who is Not Soyala to help him get some semblance of an in-character clue what he needs to do to get his magic to just behave already). heart

Do you have any Starfest prompts you want to bang out before the 10th? Or just go with a non-Starfest thread? I’m down for either (and for any prompts if you do want to do a Starfest thread)! heart

hi! once Star Festival is over and we both have some breathing room, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE something (or several somethings) civi and silly with Reiki and Buffy, the bartender at Scandals who will in due time become Montmartre of Ganymede!
