Located on the furthest edges of the Residential District is the Sohmer City Ranger Outpost, where skilled Rangers help to keep the peace and make sure everyone in the city is safe. They offer escorts for people requiring safe passage through the treacherous Alcott Channel and also offer a variety of survival lessons for travelers, such as swimming, diving and rock climbing.
Just like their other locations, the Sohmer Outpost also serves as an emergency treatment center for injured persons or Pokémon, and also handles certain requests that require their expertise. If you ever find yourself in an emergency, please contact your local ranger station. Safe travels!

Description: Some wild Crabrawler have gotten to climbing up some of the taller buildings in the Residential Sector and are causing a ruckus. Go remove them safely before they or someone gets hurt.

Special Remarks: Crabrawler hate being removed from their perch and aren't afraid to throw punches at people trying to do so. Be careful.
Title: Beachside Behemoth

Description: A wild Pallosand has absorbed a concerning amount of sand and grown immensely as a result. If it gets into the city it'll become a real problem. You need to pacify it and bring it back down to size.

Special Remarks: The Pallosand has grown to about the size of a large house and keeps getting bigger. It can't maintain its form when wet however, so you can use the beach to your advantage and shrink it by dousing it with water.

Description: A fisherman would like a Ranger to escort him and keep him safe as he pursues a rare catch that he's been trying to fish up. It can get pretty rough in the Alcott Channel, so stay on your toes.
Reward: 4,000 Pokédollars, 3 EXP and 5 Affection for each participating Pokémon, Good Rod x1, Water Gem x2
Special Remarks: The southern entrance is as far as you need to go for the fisherman to reel in his catch, which is a shiny Alomomola. The wild Pokémon don't take kindly to intruders though, so don't expect to get out of there without some difficulty.

Description: A pair of trainers went out to explore the Alcott Channel yesterday but never returned. We want you to go and make sure they're still safe.

Special Remarks: The trainers have run afoul of the wild Pokémon inside the cavern and have been injured with little chance of escape. Pacify the hostile Pokémon, tend to the trainer's wounds and get them safely out of there.

Location: Alcott Channel
Description: A Pokémon photographer would like a Ranger to help escort her through Alcott Channel in its entirety as she surveys and takes snapshots of the wild Pokémon before being safely delivered to Mt. Snicket. Alcott is one of the most dangerous spots in the region, and the trip will be both long and difficult. Prepare yourself.

Reward: 15,000 Pokédollars, 10 EXP and 25 Affection for each participating Pokémon.
Special Remarks: Clara the photographer isn't a stranger to the danger or tough conditions that the Alcott Channel presents, but it's always better to avoid confrontation where you can. She's going to want to take photos in each area of the channel, minus the underwater ruins. (She can't swim) You will receive your reward upon delivering her safely to the Mt. Snicket Pokémon Center.
