gaia_sakura I made this topic as a place everyone can use to remember a loved one who has passed away as I understand the topic can be very difficult and it helps to have a group willing to help comfort and support you through such a troubling time. You can share to get support, you can share just to remember, or you don't even have to share at all if you would rather just remember with others. Just a friendly reminder that it is okay to remember, you don't ever have to forget. heart
Today marks 4 years since my grandfather passed. He served in the US army, Vietnam and was a loving father to three. Rest In Peace grandpa. 04-21-2018 heart

That must be tough to lose someone you hold so dear to you. I hope he knew that he also touched the lives of thousands of other people defending his country. Without the men and women that gave their lives, we wouldn't have anyone defending us. Thank you for sharing this. .. I love this idea though to have a moment to remember and allow yourself to grieve with people.

I love this idea though to have a moment to remember and allow yourself to grieve with people. I remember someone telling me once before that it is easier to grieve with people online because somehow, the friends they found seem more genuine than the ones they know in real life. That can definitely be a thing 100% I agree with it! I understand it is a very touchy subject for some but I believe remembering is a good thing, very healthy and pure. Thank you heart
