Asmodeus: ' Ladies and Gentlemarks, remember me? Of course you do, but for the uneducated. I'm a former owner of EWA, former women's champion and current trainer at the Mastadon Battle Arts Academy, where great competitors like Mammoth, Aaron Fatsumudo, Whale Helmet, Omega, Gamma, Alpha, ... Just Dave... And more fine crafted their skills to be engineered fighting machines.
Tonight's edition of EWA Discordia is rather special, we're broadcasting from the Selegaria Star Studios Arena, and it's an
Iron Maiden Roulette Match for the Undisputed EWA Womens' Championship!

What that means is tonight's show is solely dedicated to just one single match
Two ladies...
One Undisputed Championship

At Slasherslam, Mardy Wilkes-Booth bested five other women to climb the ladder and secure her spot to have a title shot any time she wished...
And rather than sneakily cashing in, Mardy gave her opponent plenty of prep time, so there would be no excuses.
There are 12 different unique match types on the roulette..."

The Tron showed the roulette, as well as the matches to be used

The tron showed the previous champions who held the Women's Championship

The wheel spun, and landed on Submission...

"The following contest is a SUBMISSION MATCH! The only way to win is to get your opponent to tap out, submissions count anywhere"

The two women lock up early on here, with Luca getting the best of the situation from the start, and she then showcases her agility by flipping away from Mardy, but Luca gets captured in mid-air, slammed to the mat and starts working the arm of Luca via an arm wringer, slamming the arm of the champion into the second rope.
Lucca is knocked out of the ring, and as Mardy jumps after Luca, the champion catches her and spinebusters Mardy through the announce table!

Holy s**t! Holy s**t!

If this were a tables match, Luca would've gotten the fall but... It's a Submission match, Luca went for a crossface on the downed Mardy, who was scrambling but ultimately smacked Lucca in the face with one of the portable monitors that the announcers use.
Mardy's normal submissions were arm based offense... But she ironically went for a Lion Tamer to the champion, the variation being that Mardy was stepping on Lucca's injured arm!

The challenger has the hold locked in, and Luca's fighting through the pain... She passes out and the ref calls for the bell.

The roulette spins and lands on 'Standard Match"

" The following contest is set for one fall! " (One fall!)

Mardy drags Luca into the ring, with Mardy bouncing off the ropes and going for a hurricanrana but Luca reverses it into a tiger bomb. It was noted that Luca had a new finisher, and it seemed like she was attempting it but Mardy got out of it.
Clotheslining Mardy out of the ring, Luca immediately hops the turnbuckle and connects a corkscrew moonsault to Mardy.
Lifting Mardy up, Luca connects with what is dubbed the 'Rave-o-lution', pumphandle chokebomb, as the back of Mardy's head hits a piece of the broken announce table.

Sliding back into the ring, Luca catches her breath as the ref counts. Mardy narrowly avoids the 10 count, and Luca attempts to strike Mardy with an Azure shot, but Mardy catches her in mid-air with a super kick.
Both women on the mat, Mardy gets up and attempts another super kick but is caught and dropped with a dragon whip.
Luca gets to the turnbuckle climbing, but Mardy hops up and attempts to drive Luca into the mat with a fameasser...
Luca catches her... SUPER RAVE-O-LUTION!

The roulette spins for a third time, this time landing on 'Finisher Match'
" The following contest is set for one fall, and the first woman who hits one of their finishing moves gets the fall'

Luca rushes towards Mardy, attempting to end this quickly with a rushing knee strike but Mardy gets out of the way, connecting with a enziguri to the champion. Mardy motions for her signature super kick to the back of the head finisher, but Luca ducks, rolls out the way, hitting a single knee codebreaker to the challenger.
Luca goes on the offensive, hitting kicks to Mardy's ribs and stomps to the chest trying to wear down her opponent, one of the stomps however, Mardy catches Luca's foot and spins her around for an ankle lock

Luca manages to get out of it after a while, despite her ankle clearly taking damage. Mandy connects with a crucifix driver, Luca manages to reverse, and get in a Coquina Clutch.
Mardy kicks out of the move, whilst the hold still applied, spins around and gets Luca in a kimura hold.


Asmodeus: These girls are masterfully applying these submissions... But neither one of them were doing them in the submission match.
Marie: Maybe they just want to show off?
Asmodeus: No, they're trying to wear each other out, there's still a half hour left and both girls are tied right now. It's all about the stamina.


Luca manages to roll out of the kimura hold but it's very notable that her shoulder and ankle took damage, Mardy could be seen clutching her ribs.
The women brawl some more, and Luca seems to have the advantage, but Mardy kicks Luca in the shin, and uses that moment to capitalize, connecting a Double Arm DDT (future shock variant), dubbed 'What the Chuck?!" to Luca

The roulette spun landing on...

"The Following Contest is a NO DISQUALIFICATION MATCH'
There was a visible glimmer of excitement in the eyes of Mardy, who got out of the ring grabbing a comedic mallet. She had as a throwback to when she was a "Harley Quinn' type persona to an 'Infamous Heartbreaker'

Lifting the Mallet up to strike the downed Luca, evil intentions upon the face of Mardy...
The challenger struck down the mallet, but Luca moved out of the way from the mallet hit.
Mardy attempted to play 'Whack-a-mole' with Luca with the mallet, despite being injured and in severe pain... She was managing to roll out the way.

The challenger laughing manically until one of the mallet strikes got Luca in the injured leg.

Marie: Something's gotten into Mardy, she's very rarely this sadistic.
Asmodeus: Sometimes the quest to be a champion leads one to a dark path... Sometimes in that path one loses themselves
Maria: Scary!

Mardy thwacked Luca's injured leg again with the hammer, and then the injured shoulder twice.
TWACK! TWACK!

The roulette had spun once again.... Landing on
"The Following Contest is an Evening Gown match... Wait a minute ladies and gentlemen... I've just been informed that due to a shortage of gowns, the following will be a Bra match! Where to win the match, you have to strip your opponent to where they're in their bra! "

30-second count started to help the women recover, as the ref checked on Luca to see if she was still able to fight

Chucking the mallet out of the ring, Mardy rolled her eyes at the stipulation but ultimately shrugged her shoulders.
Luca was still laying in the ring, but only nodded her head signaling she could still compete.


Marie: Asmo, Luca is in rough shape and Mardy has a two-fall lead, the champ might not make it out of this one.
Asmodeus: I respect that Luca is a fighting champion, she has what it takes, though... Not sure why they decided to throw in this stipulation into this match, it does nothing for these ladies.
Marie: Just humiliation!

Luca still on the ground, Mardy went over to the champion and grasped the hem of Luca's shirt... However, the champion surprised Mardy with a knee to the head and grasped Mardy's top, pulling it off and leaving Mardy standing in her bra

The winner of the fall... Luca Leone!

Mardy looked down at Luca and started laughing, and it was quickly revealed why she was laughing.
The design on her bra was that of the Crimson Collective...

Marie: What the ....!?!?
Asmodeus: .... I... Did not see this coming

The roulette spun landing on...
'The following is a Reverse Ladder Match, where the only way to win is to climb a ladder and hang the championship'


Mardy giggled, to her it was ironic that she won the chance for this match via winning a ladder match, she had a chance to end the match by doing the reverse.

Luca was visibly angry, because Mardy who seemed righteous had played everyone. ... But at least Mardy was the one who was stripped... Not her, the champion slowly started to reach for Mardy's mallet... To at least cause some damage...
But there was an immediate thwack, as Luca screamed in pain, Mardy had stepped on her hand hard!
Taunting the champ, Mardy kicked Luca in the injured shoulder before getting out of the ring to get a ladder, and the championship.

Luca managed to get to her knees at this point, as Mardy looked on.
'Got some fight in ya? Go ******** Simba and stay out of my division!" Mardy yelled, giving a Yakuza kick to the champion
Mardy then placed the ladder on top of Luca to prevent her from getting up, and she slowly climbed the ladder taunting Luca by blowing a kiss to the downed champion, as Mardy hung the title up.

The timer ran out, as Mardy removed the championship hoisting it in the air.
"The winner of the match and NEW EWA Undisputed Women's Champion... Mardy Wilkes-Booth!'
Giggiling manically, Mardy hopped off the ladder, and raised the title up, making her way up the ramp celebrating


The show ended with Yuren Clepsydra holding the EWA Urndisputed Championship on his shoulder, Frankensaint with the Saint's Championship around his waist, with Mardy on his shoulder, the EWA Undisputed Womens Championship held high, Ernyn Reign holding the Intergalactic Championship.

Yuren could be seen holding one finger up, while mouthing 'One more for the collective"

There would be multiple title for title matches tonight, the 'Apocalyptica' Jan PPV will be moved to another date, as it was decided that the Jan PPV will be called 'Fantastic Voyage'

When the match starts, commentary noted that due to the nature of this particular match, and the request from both members
Both participants of this match will be eliminated from the tournament, the loser goes home and the winner of this match will face the eventual winner for the EWA World Championship.

Major nails Draze while Draze was taking off his ring jacket with a vicious big boot into the corner, the reigning FG Champion nailed Draze with a buckle bomb. With Draze crumbling to the mat, Major picked up the reigning EWA Champion, hit him with another Buckle Bomb into the corner

Nailing Draze with the vicious Tiamat Suplex, Major then locked in the cervical clutch onto Draze who passed out.

Winner and NEW EWA World Champion, Major Devastation.

EWA 2020 Super - 1 Tournament: D Block Round 3
WWE:E Worlds Heavyweight Championship & EEW Speed Championship

EEW Speed Champion: Freakshow vs J.W. Caliber

The commentary noted that Caliber never got a fair shot at the WWE:E Worlds Heavyweight Championship, and should he win this match he'll have to face Jarel in a return match in a 2-3 falls match for said championship.

The Outlaw and Freak lock up, exchanging headlocks, wristlocks, armbars. Freak manages to get the upperhand, connecting a suplex, but Caliber rollls out and nails a clothesline to Freakshow, which caused him to flip over, .J.W. went for a low clothesline to put an end to the reigning Speed champion, but Freak rolled out of the ring.
When Caliber went outside to meet Freak, Freak went back inside. Caliber walked around the ring, and took a sip of 'moonshine', then went back into the ring.

Freak looked to meet Caliber with a right hook, but the Dirty Outlaw clocked Freakshow with a vicious headbutt, a right hand of his own. Freak staggered back, only to meet a superkick from Caliber, .44 Caliber
Flopping to the mat, from the running knee strike. Caliber looked at the downed Freak, bounced off the ropes, and hit a vicious
curbstomp for the win.

After being presented with both championships, J.W. took a swig of whiskey and was handed a bag.
"EEW Speed was the developmental territory of EEW, and a lot of legends came from that show, but even more legends came from..."
J.W. spoke, as he pulled out a championship from the bag, and held it up.
"FWD, and 'This' is the FWD Heritage Championship, and I'll continue the legacy of being FWD..." he spoke, dropping the Speed Championship in the bag, " It's time to start a new path... FWD is going International"
J.W. held up the Heritage Championship and the WWE:E Worlds Heavyweight Championship

The tron showed the sigil of the Crimson Collective, Yuren Clepsydra holding the EWA Urndisputed Championship with Frankensaint tilting his head ominously at the camera.
" Mister Leone, this little game of my monster destroying you time and time again, only for you to get up... Has to come to an end. How about we finish this yes? In a match where you'll experience true despair, where you'll be trapped in anguish, the party forever silenced or... Perhaps you'll get lucky and bury my monster for good... Drop out of this tournament, let your body and mind rest... For at Fantastic Voyage, it will be you... And my monster in a Cask of Amontillado match, and your reign as champion? In pace requiescat!"

Before the feed ended, there was a backstage brawl between the Crimson Collective's Erynys and Lauri Henry, both of them slated to fight in an A block match, multiple areas around them were destroyed, until both were reluctantly pulled apart.

Shadow vs Figgins

As noted with Draze and Major's match, and both competitors leaving, this left Shadow and Figgins to face each other in the 'finals', both of them already had a loss in the tournament, it was, win or go home for both of them.

This match ended up being super fast, as Figgins tried to go for the dreaded 'Hello Kitty' Elbow smash, only for Shadow to hit him with the black mist, before the match started and a Stunner. For a quick win.

"We have a history you and I, and we never quite got to settle the score. You took your time coming back after I retired thinking you were safe Mardy, but I never forgot, and now you're with 'them'? The Wannabe Team Carnage? One last time, the Phoenix will fly, and burn your title reign to ashes. See you at Fantastic Voyage."

EWA 2020 Super-1 A Block Finals:
Joshua Danielson vs Harli

The commentary noted there was a fierce rivalry between these two in the early stages of EWA, with Harli almost costing Danielson his career, and it was never confirmed if Harli was the one who hit Danielson with a car (and forced him to vacate the EWA Championship or not).

The bell rings, Harli tries to get the jump on Danielson but the Punisher ducks out of the way, hitting a sling blade to the Aussie. Shotgun drop kick into the corner, and Danielson follows up by going to the other side of the ring, hitting with another running drop kick to Harli who was in the corner, another running drop kick to the downed Aussie.
Danielson goes for a fourth one, but Harli gets up and nails Danielson in mid-air with a vicious big boot.
Harli goes for his Crucfix Powerbomb, but Danielson rolls out of it... 1...2..
Kick out!
Harli puts Danielson in the Gogoplata, and Danielson nearly taps out but gets his foot on the rope
Another attempt at the crucifix bomb to Danielson, but Danielson slips out. Hitting an elbow smash to the back of Harli's head, then connecting with the Punisher Plex (Perfect Plex) for the win

Some announcements were made during the show, the winner of the Super-1 Tournament would face the EWA World Heavyweight Champion, but not at 'Fantastic Voyage', but rather at a different event.

Sure enough, the event now featured the following matches, implying that there would be a 'few' changes to the tournament.
Snypa opted to have an open challenge for his championship at the event, while Lauri would challenge the Crimson Collective's Erynyns Reign in a Title for a Title match.
